Yeah that was really not a good look for her and the band.
And the record just isn't very good. Why they decided to work with a big Top 40 producer is beyond me. Also, that cover art is truly awful.
I'm genuinely curious, because I see a lot of people commenting on the cover art...does that really have any effect on whether you enjoy a record, or not? Some of my all-time favorite records have stupid, banal, or downright ridiculous cover art, and, like, who cares?
PS - this is not so much a reflection on your comment, which separates the two. I've just seen A LOT of people trashing the cover art and talking about how it makes the record worse, and I'm curious about that.

I read her comments amd they seemed more about how he belittled it as "songs of the resistance" rather than just giving it a bad review because the music is tired
Have you seen any models indicating it would head to the northeast?
Check the weather forecast. Bleak as hell.
Not sure what forecast you are looking at but the only one I typically rely on is the National Weather Service (weather.gov) saying 30 percent chance of rain/thunder

Interesting. I generally bounce between weather.com and weather underground. Both are saying a really high chance of thunderstorms both Friday and Saturday - in the 70% range. It’s all about that tropical storm that’s getting ready to make landfall tomorrow in the Gulf, and what track it ends up following.
I know none of this stuff is valid, really, until Tuesday at the earliest. I should learn my lesson from last year. I just can’t help stressing it - this is like my Christmas.

Haha I hear ya....def early to tell...just keep fingers crossed but ponchos ready just in case
Bit of a more abstract question, but do you think Gov Ball should've addressed/has any obligation to address Brockhampton dropping? Almost 24 hours after Brockhampton's drop out, and they haven't said a word. They're still listed on the Website/Lineup/Schedule, and for people going on and deciding whether to buy a ticket, many believe they are playing.

Based on prior cancellations, Govball will most likely address this when they find a replacement. But it wouldn't be too surprising if they just didnt say anything. When Cardi B announced on instagram she was cancelling her tour dates, Panorama just removed her from the poster and didnt say boo.

Could just be waiting for the end of the holiday weekend and/or still searching for a replacement

Totally get why they'd not want to say anything without a replacement, was more thinking from the perspective of if that's the "right" thing to do since keeping them on the post is somewhat misleading.
