Not that a festival across the pond has anything to do with BE, but Roadburn just dropped their initial lineup. GYBE is playing 2 sets and, almost as important, EX EYE are playing, too.
Kinda threw me too. I don’t dislike Lucius, on the contrary, I actually really like them. Just not sure it’s a good fit.
That said, I have tons of respect for both the artists and the festival. I’m sure there’s a reason behind this.
Thought one: Big Ears has had a couple more normal artists over the last few years. Thought two: I think they've played every other AC festival at this point. Thought three: The link references them doing a cover song. Maybe not a standard Lucius performance at Big Ears.

True on all accounts. I was just thinking that booking wise, it made sense. People know/know of Lucius. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least to so see them (Lucius) do something different.
