alright, I'm getting pissed with the link now. If you want to see my clashfinder for Shaky Knees, just go to clash finder and search for shaky knees and it's the one made by fore34 (the same as my name on here)
Sometimes bands list the first day of the fest on their tour dates until their actual performance date is announced. You can see they have (4-6) listed next to the fest title. I wouldn't call this one a confirmation.
Cake and Fleet Foxes would be a bitch of a conflict.
Have you seen Cake before? I saw them at Galactic’s local party back in 2016, and while it was okay, that’s really all I can say about it. They seemed a little summer’s evey to me compared to most of the other acts like EoDM and Dumpstaphunk. I’d take Fleet Foxes 100/100 but that’s just me.

Nah I’ve never seen them. Honestly, I completely fucking forgot about them, so I’d be excited to see them. I’d still see Fleet Foxes though if that was the choice.
For sure. I wouldn’t want you to think I was completely hating on it or anything. If you haven’t seen them before as I hadn’t, I checked it out. It was alright though for me, one of those once was probably enough bands.

I saw Cake once @ Firefly in 2012. Good music but John McCrea spent a memorable amount of time complaining about smart phones and whatever current events were bothering him at the time. He probably has a lot more material by now. Im not completely against artist taking political stances, and I agree with not watching a concert through your phone, but it shouldn’t be what I remember about your show.

Agreed with the rest, but did they break up for a while or something? Because that’s like punk influenced alternative band from the early 90s. I don’t think they have that many albums (6? 7?), but that should be enough material right? Not meaning to be a dick or nit picky btw

I was referring to political crap to complain about.

Saw them for the first time in '95 or '96...had never heard of them...Charleston ...on a one day fest bill with DnC and the Meat Puppets...loved them and seen them as much as possible since.

Wave Fest Right? I was there too. I forgot that cake played!

Wow, you're old too!...yep, Wave Fest. I think that was the local alt station(96 Wave)...i think there was another good band i'm forgetting? Edit- according to setlist fm,the other two acts were Billy Pilgrim and Wilco...wish i was seeing that lineup again today!
this is probably gonna be the best american lineup for sure. just wish my IB exams didn't start that week so i could go up there for the weekend
dude i have IB exams that whole week and the week after but i'm so committed to Shaky Knees that i'm going anyway. wish me luck to not fail my english exam the monday after SK weekend lmao
So I’m sorry to be asking again just wanted to make sure before I get the shaky knees logo tattooed on me. I was sent a SK tattoo post from I think 2015 by a friend which said the tattoo had to be approved like a couple of days before the festival even starts to get a wristband. Is that still the deal. Cause I can’t get time off on a random day before I take a whole weekend off, and drive 5 hours to ATL just to get a ticket/wristband. Anyone know if it’s different the pst two years that you could go to will call the day of the festival and get a wristband. Or is it always a couple days before. I just need to know. I’ll get a tattoo soon if I can just show up the day of the festival at will call and get a wristband. If I do have to go early I won’t be able to and I’ll want to get a ticket online as soon as I can

Regardless of what anyone says... you should definitely email them before you get the tattoo. That way you have correspondence with the festival as a back up in case there's some sort of problem.
You can see on this Facebook comment they said, "To claim your ticket you must present your tattoo at the SHAKY KNEES Will Call/Box Office on PRE-Festival box office days, during regular business hours ONLY – Tuesday, May 5 – Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7th, 10am – 8pm each day!"
So if you can get there the evening before you're good. Otherwise I think you better buy a ticket.

Their post from last year just says to pick up your wristband during box office hours, doesn't mention having to get there before the fest.
