Literally as I posted that I was notified they’re announcing the lineup release date at 11AM Eastern today.
Kind of shitty in my opinion considering they should have already released it.
I agree, but if they release it Tuesday like I suspect it will only be three weeks behind which isn’t unheard of. Any communication from them other then “soon” is good to see also.

I think part of the reason people are tripping about it is because most lineups are getting released earlier each year, so when one is even a week behind schedule people freak out. Bonnaroo moved its announcment up a whole month since my first year.

Everyone can breath easy now knowing we're 6 days away from knowing the lineup. I have a feeling it is going to be insane no matter who they get. This will be my second Okee and there's no better way I can imagine spending my birthday than in the portal. Woooo
So who do we think will honestly be there? I'm thinking it'll be something like this: Jack White - Deadmau5 - Rapper... While I'd love to see them go big with a bigger lineup, I can't really see them getting bigger acts than KOL size ones. Which is why I think Jack White would fit perfectly at this festival. Plus he hasn't played Florida 3 years, so he's overdue and with the new album coming out, I'm hoping they snagged him.
They had a lineup prediction contest a few weeks ago where, if you had a Spotify account, you could guess 12 acts and the winner gets 4 GA passes and a parking pass. Per the conditions, winners should be notified by December 1. However, if the lineup truly is in trouble, could they cancel the contest altogether? I'm looking into it more and it sounds like, in one of the paragraphs, they can.
Because of that provision that gives them the right to modify or cancel the Contest they had an out to cancel it altogether if the festival was cancelled.
If they didn't include that they'd be in a sticky situation legally speaking.

Father John Misty hasn't done a Florida show in support of Pure Comedy and his European tour ends in February. He would make sense.

I'd love that. A lot of people want Bassnectar round 3, but I think he's out because of Buku. deadmau5 fits perfectly in that spot. On Reddit someone said Missy Elliot - wild card but I'd totally catch that set.
I'd be so game with Missy Elliott, but Jack White makes so much sense I hope it happens. I missed him at Roo and missed him when he came to Florida, so I really hope they make it happen. He's not that HUGE, but he's big enough to bring a good following and is a way better headliner than Mumford and KOL.

Guessing most everyone is waiting for the lineup before pulling the trigger, but JusCollege is doing a Black Friday sale for this fest for $299 for tickets, with the first 5 buyers getting upgraded to VIP (not much of a sale, but the VIP upgrade isn’t bad).

I feel like everyone needs a breather from Chance for a bit, at least in the live sphere. Have to imagine most everyone who wants to see him at this point has had the opportunity to multiple times over. He should go take some time and cook up something incredible
Chance was in Florida just this past June. I don't know why he'd come back to Florida just for this? Same with Arcade Fire...They were in Florida in August.

I don't think one date in Miami at the beginning of May is the same as two dates in Florida and a bunch in the surrounding area during the Summer. Chance played Miami and Tampa in June and J Cole played Miami and Orlando in August.
EDIT: Just saw Trav played St. Augustine on May 6 too, so maybe it's just as unlikely and I'm wrong. But he still played less shows than the other two last year and was only active on his own tour until June. And he had fewer dates in the Southeast. The closest he came to Okee's location otherwise was Houston and Charlotte.
