Yea, I guess since I tend to overpack I was totally fines with the weather. Much prefer a colder festival than a hot one! But either way, it was a great weekend. Like last year, I got up front for all the shows I wanted to see. Hiss Golden Messanger had like 20 people at their set, and if they would have put Arcade Fire on Saturday, and Travis Scott on Sunday earlier, it would have made a difference. The only people staying at this fest late Sunday are those Wookiee’s wanting to do drugs. Which is why Incendia was packed that last night. It was still a great time tho and Arcade Fire/Flaming Lips/STS9 were the highlights of my weekend!

I was sleeping in my spirit hoodie and my onsies, I wish someone would have taken a picture of it because I looked ridiculous in my 50 layers. I was pathetic. I guess living in NOLA the heat doesn't bother me that much. If the temps were just a little higher (high 40s/low 50s) I would have been fine, and that is actually what I packed for. If the lineup is good enough to get us back I will definitely be packing more clothing that is warmer for the nights.

Im glad you enjoyed yourself overall! It's such a beautiful area in Okeechobee and they always have a unique lineup. But I'm from Naples, about 2 hours from Okee! I'm deff not used to the cold either, but I guess I faired much better. Either way, me and my crew will deff be back next year.

I'm pretty sure it never got colder than high 40's. I was fine in my sleeping bag with sweatpants/sweater and an extra blanket. I was fine in the crowd but at night when I got tired it was difficult to rest because if I stepped away from the crowd and stopped moving it felt freezing.
The full moon set was a lot of fun. I expected it would be a clusterfuck but they were smart to have no one visibly on stage to prevent people packing to the front. The had a second stack of speakers halfway back for great sound throughout the whole beach. I had a really great time at the festival. Friday night with Tycho>StS9>Tipper>Bassnectar is among the best nights of a festival I've had in a long time. Saturday the flaming lips were fun as ever. The pow-wow was a decent pack of mini-sets and I had a lot of fun, but it wasn't the superjam type set I expected. Sunday early afternoon at aquachobee was really fun. I unfortunately started drinking way too early, having a bit too much fun. I was exausted and burnt out by the time night rolled around. I couldn't even make it through Arcade fire.

My app said it was 39 on Saturday night and that it felt like 36 due to the wind chill, but I am a hot weather girl and anything lower than 50 is super freezing to me. We didn't have sleeping bags, we had our popup canopy tent and an oversized queen air mattress. I was wishing that we had sleeping bags to either put under us or two so each of us cold sleep inside of them, but we didn't. Next time for sure. Sunday was supposed to get colder but it actually felt warmer when we went to sleep. I did wake up cold in the middle of the night again though, but didn't have on quite as many layers as I did Saturday night.
I agree about the Superjam, it wasn't really a Superjam and they mislead by saying it was hosted by Snoop because it was actually hosted by the Roots. It was fun, but not exactly what I was expecting, but I enjoyed it none-the-less. It was a great weekend. I would definitely do it again.
It got chilly at night last year, but damnnn 30's and 40's? I wanna say it went down to about the upper 50's at worst last year.
The wind was no joke either. We saw at least one canopy take flight.
Yes! The wind was crazy. Came back with a mean cold from all the dust and wind and cold weather. But all in all had an AMAZING time.
I know Arcade Fire wasn't as packed as it should have been but they still blew me away and had an amazing time watching them perform. I came out more of a fan than I ever was before. Their show was insane, as was Local Natives. Got a solid front row off the the left side for both sets.
Definitely think the pow wow had more potential too. We still had a blast shaking our Onesie butts off, and a helluva way to spend my birthday 😎 and Snoop's still got it!
One of my favorite memories, other than the performances, was late saturday night. My friend and I got a pretty good camping spot off of Red road, behind the incendia stage. Of course that stage was bumpin til the wee hours in the morning. One guy from our area came out of his site around 3am and screamed "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TURN THAT SH*T DOWN" and everyome in our area including us applauded him. Good times haha.
Had a superb time overall and already have the post-festival blues. On to more cough syrup 😷
