I'm going to laugh if Okeechobee actually booked The Front Bottoms. That being said, everyone better be ready to get into their feelings and rage with me!
So what are we thinking? Is this lineup gonna suck? Is it going to be similar to last year? Or will it be the best of all 3 years? I'm hoping for the latter, but we'll likely get the middle. We will see! 90 minutes to goooooooooooo.

I’m going with underwhelming on first glance but actually pretty good (so last year, basically).

My feelings exactly. Added in with the lineup additions, last year ended up being fantastic. But i have a feeling they're gonna book less unique stuff this year. I mean shit, did you see the crowds at Growlers, Solange and Sturgill Simpson?
Would love to see Local Natives as an undercard. They are incredible live and bring in a good crowd at fests too. Milky Chance would fit the vibe well, and I'd love to see Moon Taxi return but they will be at One Big Holiday with MMJ. A girl can dream, ha.
They're topping my wishlist right now. I hope this lineup isn't trash. Hopefully it's half trash/ half good like last year

Last year was thought to be an absolute disaster until we realized how bad the festival landscape was. Looking back, it was one of the better well rounded lineups out there for it's size I think (KoL and Bassnectar aside).

Eh, I think stuff like that is a little overblown. You can’t plan a fest and expect every act to have equal sized crowds. If they book acts like that again the crowds will be a little bigger and a little bigger the year after and so on until they have a nice diverse customer base.

Stuff like Solange and Sturgill is what kept me as a customer. I know I'm in the minority for who this festival tries to pull in, but I hope they don't abandon people like me this time around and we get a decent lineup. I really have no guess as to who's going to be on this thing at this point.

I sure hope so. I really enjoyed having a ton of space at the good acts while the pigs all headbanged to dubstep and mumble rap

I see what you're saying but I disagree a bit. The first year had some great classic rock acts with Robert Plant and Hall & Oates, and then last year that whole genre was gone. I'm guessing that's because the crowds for those weren't great the first year.
I have a bad feeling this fest is just going to lean more and more into EDM and hip-hop to attract the kids. I'm hoping to be proven wrong though in 40 minutes though!

Well, the other point is that this fest hasn’t really existed long enough to have a definitive booking pattern. I doubt they *wanted* to not have any real headliners last year but that’s just how it happened.

You also had one of the original pioneers from Bonnaroo that booked the first year which I think is probably the more relevant point there.

Yea I agree 100%. I was able to get rail for BBNG, Sturgill, Vulf, Growlers, Okeechobee Gospel and a couple others cause the crowd was soooo tiny. Hopefully they have some unique stuff this year to get me back!
