Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Corey Henry and the Funk Apostles will be the set of the weekend. This fest always does good with the very low card jam/funk (Lettuce, Twiddle, Turkuaz, Corey Henry, The Main Squeeze, Ghost of Paul Revere (which is bluegrass))
Acts Id See: Arcade Fire, Leon Bridges, Flaming Lips, Tipper, Big G, STS9, Local Natives, Thievery Corp, Tycho, Sylvan Esso, Misterwives, Sofi Tukker, Lettuce, Denzel Curry, Allah-Las, Nightmares on Wax, Twiddle, Chicano Batman, Hippo Campus, Turkuaz, Hiss Golden Messenger, The Districts, Poolside, Main Squeeze
24/4 = 6 acts a day. I really want to try this thing out so we'll see.
Not for me. Hangout has worse shit on there, but what I like on Hangout, I like more than Okee.
Arcade Fire is better than anything except Kendrick. Bassnectar and Tipper and Gramatik are better than all EDM at Hangout combined. 5 or 6 Jam acts as well. I look at it as a 2 1/2 Star lineup vs a 1/2 star lineup. And that’s mostly because of the cooler EDM and Jam.
Also Pouya is rap for Todd. He’s the dude in the Ghostface Killah remix of Dat $tick. I don’t know him elsewise but people like him
The response seems pretty negative from all corners of their fanbase.
Some favorite comments:
"How do you go from wiz logic flume russ usher rae sremmurd griz waka griz kings of leon young the giant to this. Good lineup but not nearly as great as last year."
"Are you shitting me ? Only reason chobee fest was lit because of hip hop and electronic , stop adding shitty boring trumpet playing artist that makes the crowd yawn ! Damn !"

This lineup makes me feel old and I'm 25.
Halsey and Travis Scott have a combined total of 4 album in their catalog. I couldn't name any of them nor do I think the public has dubbed any of them as special. They are headliners, along with a 3rd year repeat.
Have fun in the Everglades, children. Drink water and don't mix your drugs.

I expected this festival to start booking bad rap and EDM exclusively tbh, so I'm pleasantly surprised. There's about a dozen acts I'd be excited to see, and the festival seems to offer a pretty unique experience. $335 is a bit steep though.
Hope this means Leon Bridges will have a new album early next year.
