When I saw them last month they did the same thing, but with Feel It Still twice. Although, they did play Chicago! Nobody knew what they were playing lol.
Jealous. They kept teasing Chicago, but never actually played it. Glad they break it out sometimes.
If I had my choice, I'd want to hear "Elephants" live again.
I could deal with just playing Chicago, but the real crime is pretending like Church Mouth and Colors don't exist.
After seeing this set, I refuse to ever see Portugal the Man again. There would be no point, the newer albums don't hold a candle to Waiter, Censored Colors and Satanic Satanist.

Did you see the set or just the setlist? I understand what you're saying and even agree a bit. But it was still very good - kind of dark and brooding for them even though they were having fun. It almost had a bit of a psychedelic tinge to it.

Any set of theirs that doesn't feature any work pre-In the Mountain isn't gonna be one I would even consider watching live.
Nothing against people who like the newer stuff, there's obviously a lot more of them, but I grew up on those three albums. Not gonna see an act where I know they'll play zero of my favorite songs. It'd be akin to Mew ignoring their Frengers material, or Converge playing sets with nothing pre-Axe To Fall.
