Thursday: 9:00-10:00pm The Orwells > Going to bed because I have to work on Friday [NOTE: If my 8 month old decides to wake up in the middle of the night, we might both be catching Twiddle if between the hours of 2:00-3:30am]
Friday: 4:45-5:45pm The Strumbellas (probably second half of the set...again, work) > [Going out to dinner] > ... > Maybe Kaleo if they show repeat late Friday
Saturday: 12:00am-12:30am RHCP > 12:30am Will have fallen asleep watching RHCP
Sunday: 5:15pm-6:15pm Royal Blood > 6:15pm-7:15pm Umphrey's McGee > Dinner "back at camp" aka the kitchen 10 feet from my couch > 8:30pm-10:30pm USA vs Mexico WC Qualifier and maybe some of Lorde > 10:00pm-10:15pm BADBADNOTGOOD > 10:15pm Will have fallen asleep watching BADBADNOTGOOD
Unless you found the stream times, most of them don't coincide with the actual festival sets. At best there is a 30/60 minute delay time. I watched so many of them last year, I can't remember all that were time delayed. But I thought all the North American ones were. FWIW, Demon Days begins streaming like noon or 1pm Central on Saturday also on 2 channels on Red Bull. No doubt there are bound to be some great sets at that too.
I did not, but thanks for the head's up. That 30-60 minute delay would actually help my Coucharoo schedule. Except for RHCP, which I now stand no chance of staying up to watch. Maybe they'll replay that one on Sunday at some point.
Yeah. A lot of times you'll get 1 or 1/2 of the sets replayed. And sometimes they'll put a bigger act on more than once in the replay. They did that with Run the Jewels' awesome show at Primavera where they put it on both channels in the replays at various times. Some of the sets are likely to be a day after they aired or whatever. The initial schedule will be out today, so we can all start planning. I need Demon Dayz to come out too because there are some acts I want to see from that, but they haven't even said what they're streaming yet except Gorillaz. I'm sure someone will beat me to it, but I'm checking all day.

I've actually never streamed Roo before...do they do the late nights, too? Wanna switch in between that Umphreys and Superjam sets
This is where I'm at as well. Never actually done the livestream, so I'm curious to see how it is vs. Coachella. How into I get will depend on the schedule.
Hopefully we'll have youtube access via tinychat again ... It's been a mess for an entire year

You won't have issues with Red Bull tv. Trust me. I'm old and not tech savvy and it's a breeze mobile, direct from their website or via their app.

Thursday Mondo Cozmo (Haven't seen them, but they've been getting good reviews)
Friday: Stick Figure (California Reggae, some people hate that loose genre, I don't) Turkuaz - Pretty cool funk/jam band Angelique Kidjo - Remain In Light I'm assuming this is some Talking Heads thing but I don't know for sure
Sunday:
Royal Blood - I saw them at Roo 15. I think they're decent, but a lot of people think they're great.
Also, don't forget that Demon Dayz will be streaming Saturday and Sunday too. I'll have that information in the Streaming Thread (Music Lounge Root) but I'll copy it over here because everyone will be on Red Bull anyway.
Thursday: 9:00-10:00pm The Orwells > Going to bed because I have to work on Friday [NOTE: If my 8 month old decides to wake up in the middle of the night, we might both be catching Twiddle if between the hours of 2:00-3:30am] (Not showing The Orwells til 11:00pm and no Twiddle til Friday at 1:00am)
Friday:4:45-5:45pm The Strumbellas (The Strumbellas are 6:10-7:10pm, and dinner reservation at 7:00) > [Going out to dinner] > ... > 10:10-11:10pm Kaleo
Saturday: 12:00am-12:30am RHCP > 12:30am Will have fallen asleep watching RHCP (Being real with myself. Probably not staying up until the 12:35am start time...)
Sunday:5:15pm-6:15pm6:45-7:45pm Royal Blood > 6:15pm-7:15pm Umphrey's McGee > Dinner "back at camp" aka the kitchen 10 feet from my couch > 8:30pm-10:30pm USA vs Mexico WC Qualifier and maybe some of Lorde (9:45-10:45pm) > 10:00pm-10:15pm BADBADNOTGOOD > 10:15pm Will have fallen asleep watching BADBADNOTGOOD (BADBADNOTGOOD start time 11:00pm)
Now catching 2 shows. Maybe 2.5. Even the RedBullTV schedule sucks! (for me anyway)

They repeat the stream after it finishes for the day on all channels. You can see all the replays in the daytime.
Also, because the new day's streams start at around 5:00pm, they will probably repeat the entire channel's lineup 2-3 times before opening up the next day's broadcasting.

I skipped out this year (mainly due to lineup, undercard) to go on vacation with my gf's family but I'm most certainly going to have too many beers and stream some of these performances on my tablet and wish I was there. Here's to hoping they can get me back next year (I legit consider Bonnaroo as the first option for festivals every year, until the lineup comes out haha).
[/b]My analysis from knowing a bunch of the Inforoochat crew. Let me know if I'm playing in the right zone buddies? Dave Maynar & fam[/quote]
That Central timezone action may mess with me a bit, but I should be down for some of it most certainly Thursday night. The rest of the weekend all depends on what I got going on.

I might try and catch some of Kevin Morby, James Vincent McMorrow, Ganja White Night (dude at Hulaween kept going on about him last year. I'll give it a shot), Lukas Nelson & the Promise of the Real, Margo Price, Lorde, BADBADNOTGOOD.

It's okay. We saw them open for Gramatik at the Buku after party. I think people hype them a little more than the music deserves, but they definitely didn't suck.
Three-time Grammy winner Angélique Kidjo performs her interpretation of The Talking Heads' classic 1980 album, Remain in Light. Often considered the band's greatest work, Remain in Light pushed sonic boundaries, and dazzled fans with sampled and looped grooves, an innovative technique for the era. Drawing inspiration from legendary Nigerian Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, the album experimented with African polyrhythms and drew lyrical inspiration from African academic literature. Certified gold in the 80s, Remain in Light continues to be recognized on best album lists of all time including Rolling Stone, Billboard, Pitchfork and many other respected music publications. Angélique will record her version of the album with superstar producer Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Jay Z, Drake, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Taylor Swift), taking classic songs such as "Crosseyed and Painless," "Once in a Lifetime," and "Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On)" and reinterpreting them with electrifying rhythms, African guitars, and layered backing vocals. In 2017, Angélique will bring this musical extravaganza to concert halls and festivals across the globe including a premier performance at Carnegie Hall.
Prob going try to catch most of the Orwells tonight before falling asleep, and same thing on Friday with PTM.
I'll be traveling on Sunday, but going to try to get back in time to catch a few sets. Margo Price/Royal Blood/UM/Greensky Bluegrass is right up my alley.
LMAO. You are the Tegan and Sarah superfan. I saw them once at Hangout in like 2014 I think on the Surf/Chevy Stage. My daughter wanted us to go pass over there, and for whatever reason, they had the sound very, very low. People always complain about chatterboxes at concerts, but all you could hear were conversations because of the lack of volume. We stuck around for a while but ended up leaving without me being able to form a snap/flash opinion of whether or not I liked them. I have something to do Saturday until 8ish, but I will try to catch them on the replay later than night or Sunday morning. ---------------------------------- For everyone else, one thing I did notice were giant gaps in the schedule of 1, 2 and 3 hours on certain channels. Obviously some of that will be features and what have you, but there are liable to be several additional acts streamed to fill in those times.
From 7pm on June 10th (Irish Time, so like 1 CDT and 2 EDT), Red Bull TV will broadcast two channels of live music and content from beyond the stage, featuring Gorillaz’ headline set (approx. 9pm) and performances from a host of guests from their recently released album Humanz.
Such a unique event calls for a uniquely qualified host, and Julie Adenuga is just that person. Rising queen of the UK music scene, British radio presenter and DJ for Beats 1, Adenuga will host the Demon Dayz broadcast. The four-hour live programme will be replayed for 24-hours on each channel, with VOD highlights then becoming available.
------------------------------------------------
So the 4 hour block(s) will end up repeating 5 or 6 times. I'm not sure if they're going to play the same stuff on each channel staggered, in different times or completely different sets. This should give all Gorillaz fans a chance to catch the programming.
Just about to watch radiohead 2012 dvd which took place 5 years ago today then probably look in on the stream a little bit before switching over to hockey. Also bought some special canned beers on way home from work which I took to bonnaroo with me every year to enjoy over the weekend (old speckled hen) so will crack one of them as well as I do. Should help take the sting out of not being there in person this year.
In all seriousness, though, that schedule is somehow more anemic than I thought it'd be; I'm waffling on going to a baseball game tomorrow but I'll probably be around to at least catch Angelique Kidjo, Deap Vally/T&S on Saturday, and Margo Price/Royal Blood/Lorde on Sunday. is there going to be slash is there currently a rabbit chat?
