IMP really needs to introduce some verification method for their big 9:30 Club shows. Eventbrite currently just isn't equipped to handle events like the Girl Talk show that are prime for scalpers and bots.

I hope they take the 4th of July style event and do it where Landmark was and I’ll be satisfied.

Absolute must-see, this show. It's all reserved seating, so getting good tickets will be crucial.

Any seats/sections at that venue that should be avoided at all costs?

That's what I thought, and per AViewFromMySeat.com, the last rows in the 200 and 300 sections seem to have some sort of overhang that partially blocks the views.

On the bright side, Tool is currently touring with their own custom surround soundsystem, so the acoustics will at least be good.

I’m hoping for Fairfax because that would be a 15 minute drive for me.

Anybody ever visit John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, and is it a good venue? I'm now considering that as an alternative or an addition to Baltimore in terms of seeing Tool in April.
