They obviously won't get all of these acts, but I'd like to see some of them in Dover for 2018: Anderson .Paak, BORNS, Cage the Elephant, Daniel Caesar, Gary Clark Jr., George Ezra, Greta Van Fleet, GRiZ, Grouplove, Hippo Campus, Kyd the Band, LANY, Logic, Milky Chance, The Neighbourhood, Nothing but Thieves, Portugal. the Man, Royal Blood, Run the Jewels, San Holo, Spoon, SZA, The Struts, Tash Sultana, Vance Joy, and Welshly Arms

So much of that Hangout lineup, like over 50%, has played Firefly and in some cases multiple times. Hopefully FF lays off the repeats unless we're talking about Kendrick or PTM.

Yea for real. Looking at this past year, Firefly only shared 8 of the top 28 acts on Hangouts lineup, if I'm remembering correctly. In 2016, Looks like maybe 5 of the top 23 acts on hangouts lineup as well, so I don't think we are as in bad of shape as it may seem with Hangout Crossover this year and Firefly repeats.

With Springsteen extending his Broadway show through June, he's out. You know it's the holiday season when you can begin crossing off names of the most-desired legacy headliners until you find yourself with Bob Dylan in mid-January:
Pearl Jam Bruce Springsteen Roger Waters Foo Fighters Fleetwood Mac Elton John Guns N Roses The Who Green Day Neil Young U2 Red Hot Chili...Ugh Billy Joel Aerosmith

(not including Clapton, Stones, Eagles, Macca)
Springsteen always felt like wishful thinking anyway even given the very public support to bring him to Delaware. I’m still naively hoping for The Who. Maybe they go the Voodoo 2017 route and have hat split headliner listing. Sticking with what I’ve had, something like:
The Who - Green Day - Arcade Fire Imagine Dragons - Skrillex
I’d be all about this. But that’d be too much good and not enough (realistic) bad.
In addition to the fear of getting Dragon'ed or Chainsmoke'd as a headliner, we now have to add the potential of getting Halsey'd or Scott'ed.
It's a minefield out there.
At least Arcade Fire could happen? Firefly is a much bigger festival, no way Halsey or Travis Scott would be on the first line. Second line though? Absolutely. I could def see the Chainsmokers/Halsey pair coming over from Hangout.
If Firefly got Arcade and Kendrick as two of their 3 headliners that would be pretty awesome. I still think we're gonna get hit with the Chainsmokers, but hopefully they end up 4th on the lineup. I think best case scenario would be something like:
If Firefly has anything even close to a good lineup booked they would be sharp to put it out soon (before Roo and Coachella). These first two major releases have been beyond trash.

Agree, would be hard to think that if they aren't headlining at Hangout that they would be headlining at Firefly.

I think that really saved their ass in 2016, when they got it out in time for Xmas season. That was definitely a huge boost in their sales.

MikeG doesn't what the lineup is. He is guessing just like we are.
yes he's said that in the past but he is indeed involved w Red Frog, and those posts are obviously hinting that he knows something so hey maybe he's in the know now? not impossible.
