fuck radio 104.5. they play Imagine Dragons 87 times an hour and I won a contest once and they never gave me the concert tickets.
IHeartMedia stations are the worst for contests, because they insist that you pick up the tickets in person at their always-inconvenient-to-reach office during weekday work hours.
Though one time my brother managed to convince 104.5 to mail them. Still not sure till this very day how he pulled that off.
Hoping I like the Night 2 more than Night 1. Only real interest for me is CHVRCHES. Curious who could be playing.
It’ll be interesting to see who they get for night 2 since all the major east coast fests like Bonnaroo, Firefly, and Gov Ball will have already happened by then. I’ve always wanted to make the trip to one of these shows before so I hope the lineup is good. If not, I might just go to DC101 Kerfuffle. I could see Father John Misty and Mumford & Sons as possible options.
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol

Could I trouble you for a link to that lineup? P&TY. Couldn't find it.

I don’t think they’ve announced the Kerfuffle lineup if that’s what you are asking for. However, they did announce it around this time last year so we could be getting it soon.

Kerfuffle is usually a lot like the birthday show but tends to have one or two nostalgia acts included (Incubus, The offspring, Jimmy Eat World etc). I usually like it better and of course it's at Merriweather which is closer anyway. Although, I feel like the Killers are probably due to be the top billed act. Last three years "headliner" have been Kings of Leon, Blink 182, and Incubus. Since Kerfuffle is usually a Sunday in May, I could see The Killers coming over on the 20th after playing Hangout on the 18th.

Recently, Kerfuffle has been the week after Firefly. At least that's the way it has been last year and the year before with Blink-182. I honestly like it that way. Gives me a nice "ease back into normalcy" vibe after going on a festival binge for two weeks (Bonnaroo and Firefly). I'm hoping this year Kerfuffle continues on the trend of rarely having repeats from Firefly the year of (with the exception of Blink-182 headlining a week after Firefly). Kings of Leon a year later was a nice touch. Joywave or Panic! has been easily my favorite sets at Kerfuffle.

Lat year it was May 14th. I think it was only in 2016 with Blink 182 that it was in June. I know 2017, 2015, and 2014 were all in May.

The date depends on when they can secure a headliner of their liking. I could definitely see The Killers, Mumford & Sons, and Muse as possible headliners, given their possible availabilities around that time.

Oh wow, I stand corrected! I guess May isn't so bad either! I'm assuming we'll get an announcement real soon then. Give me some COIN!

Night 2 of that 104.5 bday thing gets announced today. Somebody guessed the reunited Smashing Pumpkins were playing and they retweeted it. Could mean nothing though.
I am unsure what kind of pull that Smashing Pumpkin reunion really has.
It'll be interesting to see what lineups they end up on in the next year, and where on that lineup they get billed. Hasn't Billy Corgan been shopping this reunion around to festivals for like 2 years?

Nah that was about who they wanted. Theyve retweeted a ton of people and what they want.

I think the novelty wears off on it reallll fast and by next year they fall between 4-6 on major lineups.

Feels like day-by-day breakdowns for this might be close. Most other related fests have done so already and it's probably about time they need to start pushing single days for these.
Still not sure why Paramore isn't playing this as well. Maybe they didn't like idea of playing 4 days in a row.
Because their tour is with Live Nation.
Ohhh right makes sense since they're playing BC and Roo then. Probably passed on Gov Ball for the Barclays show.
Little surprised we haven't gotten the daily lineups yet. I know it's usually mid March but most fest have moved theirs up already. You'd think they'd want to get started on daily tickets.
