Anybody here ever do Glamping? Considering it this year if the lineup is on the better end of these mocks
My issue with glamping is they don't have it at the north end camp area (wed camping). If they'd offer some of those things up there, I'd def consider it.

Had a friend do Glamping last year and they said it was nice. However, they were supposed to get some sort of gift basket but "vendors pulled out" and the gift ended be like 4 Red Bulls or something.

Firefly's Facebook page did a Throwback Thursday of Imagine Dragons, after not doing any for months, so let's hope it's not foreshadowing. The booking worked out nicely for Wayhome.

With lack of a NYC date on the fall tour and having played European festivals last summer, Foo fighters are probably playing the festival circuit this year. I would pencil them in as a likely return headliner.
I would be more than OK with a Foo Fighters return. Their set in 2014 was the best Firefly headlining set ever (besides Macca). And the SOUND - that guitar tone was crisp.

I feel like they'll do stadiums instead again... it's a logical move in their career.

Oh and as much as I laughed at the "hey kids wanna see a dead body" reference in the thread title, it was a sensitive move to get rid of it now. So kudos.

Would that keep them from Firefly though where the radius clause doesn't seem to be as big of a deal. Like I get that they wouldn't play GovBall/Pano because they'd rather do Citi Field or Metlife. But they can still do a show in Philly and NY in a stadium and then sneak a Firefly appearance in between.
I would love to see them back but I hope they avoid the repeats because that would allow them to bring back RHCP or The Killers - which would just be lazy at this point.

If they would be to do a stadium tour it would likely be through Live Nation and therefore potentially place them at some Live Nation Festivals, and stop them from going to goldenvoice festivals. Maybe, however I dont think they can play stadiums off of this album IMO

Foo Fighters played RFK Stadium in DC last time. They could do that again (or FedEx Field in MD) in lieu of Firefly.

Thats not exactly what happened. They had a fourth of July festival that they headlined at RFK. They had Buddy Guy, Heart, LL Cool J, Joan Jett, Gary Clark Jr, Trombone Shorty and others there too. And it was in Dave's hometown.

Gotcha.
But given that DC is Dave's hometown, it makes sense for them to play it by themselves this time. Remember: they already did other stadiums in 2015 such as in Boston and NYC.

IMO it would be cool for the Foos to play the new Audi Field, the DC United stadium. But ya I think they could play Baseball stadiums in some bigger cities like Wrigley, Fenway or Yankee stadium. I doubt they could support a whole tour on those size stadiums however. I could totally be wrong tho
Side note: Tom Petty in 2013 was the first headliner I saw at Firefly, or any festival for that matter, and it was absolutely magical. It's honestly probably why I still have such a strong loyalty and fondness to this festival. RIP to a legend.

i think that moment probably came for me during arctic monkeys in 2014
How about Bruce Springsteen? I know he doesn't generally play festivals, but with another legend leaving us in Petty, I'm thinking about huge acts Firefly could try for. RIP Tom </3
