Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
A good part of any adventure is the planning and anticipation. Everyone on this Board has made this coming weekend that much more exciting. Thank you! Have a safe, fun, unforgettable weekend, and thank you for welcoming me into this community -- as if you had a choice
And thank you for turning me on to new performers and new travel routes. I will try as much as I can pack in. I am in awe at those who have seen some performers 8, 10, 20 times. I think I can count four times for Tower of Power, the Roche Sisters and Arlo. After three times seeing Flo & Eddie (The Turtles) my friends did an intervention.
All still looking for tickets -- I loathe Stub Hub and all third party ticket sellers. I have passed up shows not to pay a house fee. But we all cut corners under this fancy clothing (apologies to Dickens), and I can vouch for never having had a bad experience with the major companies.
I can be shy, so never came by the tents in the past, and looks like there is no meeting area this year. I will start Saturday with Low Cut Connie, likely wearing a black Third Man Records tee shirt, and Sunday likely wearing lunch on some shirt. Someone here owes me a beer. If we don't meet up, please give it to whomever is your nearest, newest or dearest friend and enjoy. Oh, and if Lake Street Dive closes Saturday, I'll say hello to those making a mad exit.
Now go have a grand time, and get stuffed with friends, food and music! Say goodnight, Marc (aka OP).
Hiss Golden Messenger just posted the lyrics for the Beatles “Long, Long, Long” and some other song on instagram saying he was learning new songs for Newport

Yeah also interesting comment by someone saying it’s a Harrison cover band with Hiss, Yim etc...

For those staying at Motel 6 — the ice machine is down and if you booked a room with a micro fridge, there’s a good chance you won’t get one. From what the guy at the desk said, they got rid of them. (We didn’t get one even though we booked a room with one).
quick transpo question: our hotel is a bit further from boats at perotti park than last year, has anyone ever driven to ferry launch and parked nearby? i am assuming it may be tough, but perhaps someone wants to share some parking secrets.

There was one year when I parked at Lee's Wharf and walked over to the water taxi. Everything went pretty smoothly.

I'm still number 12 in line for glorietta Friday. That's definitely the show I want to go to for after show friday. May check back here later or tomorrow to see if anyone still has

The guy at the front desk gave us keys to the wrong room. I opened the door to find a little girl and a rather large yellow lab staring right at me.
At least they had my reservation for the full weekend this year unlike a few years ago when they only had Friday night (despite my confirmation email stating the entire weekend).
gotta say it's pretty darned impressive that about 48 hours out we still have no idea who's headlining saturday. i was sure something would slip by now, but other than a few scattered people insistent on mumford, it does still seem like it could any direction.

Looks like I'll probably be at the Happiness show at Parlour tonight was #8 for All Newport's Eve when Lyte waiting list finished up. Unless someone by chance is sitting on an extra for Shakey Graves tonight?
Anyone know what time music starts at Parlour tonight?
It's gonna be Mumford. A friend who knows Phil Cook told us Mumford is playing with him Friday night.
Woah! How confident are you on this??
Fairly. My buddy isn't an NFF guy, just a friend of Phil. He said Mumford is playing with them fairly non chalantly like it was known they'd be at the fest

Curious as to why the last minute switch to have Shakey open instead, but tonight went great! A few of the friends that joined on stage definitely peaked my interest in them and will make for some more difficult conflict decisions than planned!
