My wife and I got 2 for Friday, shut out of Sunday. This will be our first Deer Tick after show in our 5th year of trying, so selfishly I'm quite happy. I definitely understand the contentions with this new system though, and hope it's not a precurser for the fest itself, or the JP aftershow.
I saw him last night in Northampton and there couldn't have been more than 40 people there. So empty, but still an awesome show. I'm hoping for all the Glorietta I can get.

Congrats! It should be a good show. Just know that it can get pretty tight and crowded towards the front and by the bar/stairs. Either get there early and hold down a spot or find your way to the back/right for more space.

Saw this and was jealous of your snaps. He's not coming to Baltimore, only DC, and on a weeknight, so that's a nonstarter for me.

Podcasts are great. Comedy ones, informative/educational ones, true crime ones, and movie/tv/music discussion ones. There's too many out there, though, making it hard to sift through at times.
jumpinjamesbrown, I was looking for you! I got there a few minutes after door and was freaking out I wouldn't get a front row spot, and no one was even there. And no else even came in for another twenty minutes. When the (awesome) opener came on at 7:00, there was only like ten of us. haha

There are straight-up music podcasts as well... Live music, not music theory/discussion. Tiny Desk for example has all of their performances on there to stream the audio.
Hey guys, my group ended up a couple tickets short for Sunday, but a couple tickets extra on Friday. Let me know if anyone is in the opposite situation and wants to do a trade.

Tiny Desk is considered a podcast? Then I guess I lied. I have listened to podcasts. I do dislike the talking parts between the music though
