Glad he's not in London this week. I kind of wish the Saints weren't either. I just walked to the grocery to get a handle of Jim Beam and got a pre-8:00am pour going down. It's a little early for this shit.
So what happened to them exactly? Coaching staff is the same, I think, so did they lose significant players? I don't keep up with such things.
From the observations of me and some friends, it seems like they aren't keen into tackling anyone lately. I remember one particular play where Malcolm Butler tracked down Kelvin Benjamin (iirc). then for like 3-5 yards was more concerned with slapping the ball out of his hands than trying to take him down. Stephon Gilmore had a couple of costly penalties. The secondary isn't as bulletproof as was expected to be. Dont'a Hightower was also out for two and a half weeks.
I feel like Houston has had everything but a quarterback for the last few years. It appears they got one now, so people better watch out.
Eh that's a bit of an over simplification, even when we've been good we've definitely been weak in a lot of areas, but our other players have been good enough to make up for it. We're in probably the best position we've been in since Schaub was at his short lived peak to really win some games, as long as watt/clowney are healthy we'll have a shot. But I'm remaining cautious just because our o line and secondary aren't very strong.
Legitimite point. The Saints recent 1-5 run vs Carolina set us back in the all time head-to-head. I could always bring up the Lombardi.
Go Bills! 4th and 4 Falcons no timeouts.
I'm mentally girding myself for a collapse against the Bengals next weekend. It's legitimately hindering my ability to enjoy today's win. Thus is the life of a Bills fan.

The most impressive part of it is he's doing it with a pretty poor offensive line and pretty much only Nuk to throw it to. Fuller being back is definitely going to help.

yeah fuller looked great. I was pretty excited about him last year, also our tight end scenario has been a dumpster since Owen left.

I'm torn for that game. Part of me wants to see the Bengals win and have momentum for the Steelers game the following week, I think if we get to 3-3 following a Steelers victory we would have potential for a playoff run. I also know though beating the Bills and then losing to the Steelers would put us in no mans land for the season. If we are sitting at 2-4 I think it's likely we will finish around 7-9/8-8 and I would much rather be at 5-11. I think Marv would be out, have another high-draft pick, and possibly some different looks at QB.
I'm happy to see Buffalo have a good start. They've become my 2nd favorite team with Tyrod at QB.
