Yesterday was a blah slate of games on television here. Bears-Falcons wasn't a bad game, but I don't like cheering for the Bears. And they lost. So it counts.
I'm more excited for the Saints v. Patriots next week than I am about the Saints v. Vikings tonight. I hope the Saints are more excited for the game esta noche. I'm guessing when I blow out of work at 4:00pm and head to the I-D-al market laidealmarket.com/ para la comida!
Did they? After the TD they had drives of 34, 13, 43, and 3 yards. One ended in a fumble by Deshaun, one ended in a pick, one on downs, the other a punt. "Nuk" had 7 catches on 16 targets. Deshaun threw a pick nullified by penalty the play before the TD. He averaged 4.4 YPA to Savage's 4.8.
The offensive line is terrible, I'll give you that, but I think you're being a homer about the rest. I watched Kizer play yesterday and that guy looks great, I'm a big fan.
Maybe, to me it was clear that they did more with him in the game. He was able to avoid the pass rush a lot better. Savage was sacked 6 times. He actually threw thr ball to Nuk (a lot) which they need to do. He obviously made mistakes but considering he's a rookie thrown in after half time of the first game he looked good.
We're a dumpster fire, it's going to be a long season. Our franchises best offensive line man ever was out due to holdout while we took 10 sacks, seriously any time the Texans have any outside line talent they either let them go or try to under pay them. Our secondary isn't good, it's really only been good a few times in our history and it's always an after thought. Cush is hurt, again, and is going to make 20 million over the next three years. We have no WR talent outside Hop really (that little bit of overlap with not amazing Nuk and on the decline AJ was the best we've ever had), and all our sub par TE's are hurt. That's all before getting to the QB sitch. Savage offers no 'win now' potential or future potential, if we win games with Savage it'll be due to the defense, the run game, or the other team, he's not going to win any games with the team on his shoulders. I'd rather see Watson starting sooner rather than later (maybe after the Brown holdout, which needs to happen asap), but I'm more worried about him getting sacked 50 times this year than I am about winning. Even if we were gifted the division again (looks like we won't be so far) we are going to get blown out of the first round.
If my Bengals lose tonight we are headed for a 5/6 win season, and possibly some AJ Mccarron time.
If my Texans lose tonight we are headed for a 2/4 win season. Maybe not, but things are looking pretty grim, the Cushing suspension is nice icing on the cake.

Where are all those people making fun of the Browns for the Osweiler trade now? They made a bet on a team they saw as poorly run (seems to be correctly so). I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Browns are being run extremely well to my eyes.

idk why anyone would have been making fun of that. they got a pick out of it and he was clearly not going to be on the team long.

You are correct, but it totally happened. I think part of it is just that it's Cleveland. People love to beat on them.

As bad as the Bungles looked last week, I don't know how they could manage to lose at home to a rookie QB who's hot garbage, passing behind a god awful line and a running game topped by Lamar Miller.
But they do have Andy Dalton, so anything can happen.
(But, no, Bojangles and Tim Hortons are not comparable.)
They don't compare even a little bit, but really wtf is the point of travel if you can't see past creature comforts amirite? Still, Bojangles isn't bad either it's just never going to be THs.
Good luck every other week though fella, I think you guys are doing some interesting things this year (and not just stealing half our coaching staff )
Lol at all they whiny commenters in the local papers and on social media hating on the protests today. It's the ultimate in irony for the anti-PC crowd to be outraged because some mothetfuckers stood up to bullshit. People taking shit personally and disavowing "long held" fandom for their team of choice. I'd like to invite each and every one of you conservatards to simply fuck off and die.
