I don't either. The round ended at the time listed, I'll type up a new runoff tally when I get to a PC. 10 am central close time set for Monday, though ill make that official via tally.
I don't want this whole game to be extended, is there anyone else who feels an extension into the weekend and or Monday is necessary?
I think in a situation like this (nothing really earth shattering happening), I'd give maybe a 1-2 hour extension. Since it's almost 3 CDT now, maybe go for 4-5 CDT? Whatever you see fit. However it ends up shaping out, I don't think it needs to keep going long than this evening.

i just did it since I thought we were getting close to the deadline. I'm fine with it extending like an hour or so if anyone wants to chime in on my switch.
there are also like 8 players who haven't indicated whether they need/want more time since my vote switch. i requested it in the scenario that me typing up my justification for the switch went past the deadline, as opposed to making a switch without any reasoning just to beat the deadline.

Don't switches within however much time before the deadline trigger an automatic extension? I'm unclear on the exact timeline, because Maddog's posts just say "about an hour ago", but an extension seems pretty reasonable to me in either case.
The opening round of each day will last 36 hours, but the runoffs may initially have 24 hour deadlines at the ref's discretion. For a 24 hour runoff, the first extension request will be granted, and subsequent requests will occur at the discretion of the ref.
Nights will last anywhere from 6-18 hours, at the ref's discretion.

yeah I was pretty sure that was the case, but didn't see that in the rules of this game, just what zolah posted above. I just felt like if I made the move, and then got a phone call that lasted a while or something it would cause way more of an uproar, so I requested.
I guess i'm staying put but I almost feel like Jimdawg is acting too wild to be mafia.
I seen it as the complete opposite - Maddog acting wild and trying to dictate terms of the runoff is a Mafia move trying to control the game
The argument might have been better made by someone that wasn't in the runoff.
I feel like everyone should be looking at both angles of the moves (cue littlefinger meme), but didn't you also make a stack by mistake and try to shape a runoff while in a runoff?

I'm not opposed to anyone in the runoff at this point... But I feel like you are retaliating a little. You put me in the runoff because I voted for you. Now Potent put you in and you want him in. I can see the other side of the coin though where he doesn't want LLL to "slip by" and then boom. Vote change. I think day 1 we tend to attack people who make these kind of moves, and mostly they are townies making them.

How does bringing endless attention to yourself control the game? It uselessly just gets you voted off or, at the very least, blows up whatever sceem you're cooking.
Makes no sense to kick someone (Zolah) out of a runoff if nobody is willing to join me putting someone else in.
That and if I move, do people think I'm saving Zolah? Cause that this point, I have no idea who anyone is. And I don't care about Zolah, unless she's the Inspector.

jr and pablo both made statements regarding how they didn't necessarily find Jaz very suspicious. my initial vote on him got some rumbles, but mainly on how poorly it was presented, and I didn't feel like anyone was covering for him. i made the mistake of coming off of mafia in round 1 last game, and maybe I could be doing that again, but i feel safe coming off of him for now.
the only reason I am switching to zolah over LD is so that one of myself, LD, Jaz, or her get their votes back either way.

As per the rules, the extension would be granted and I would be in, and Jaz would be out. Unless Tainted says otherwise, this should be the correct tally.
