Founders: "Hey Eddie, want to play at our event at CitiField?" Vedder: "Fuck yeah, I love ballparks." *signs contract* Founders: "Haha PSYCH you're playing outside in the parking lot!"
Snow Patrol announced a show at Irving Plaza in April. Live Nation-booked venue and I imagine they want to re-establish themselves to the US audience so Meadows would make sense for them.
Still think it'd be totally fine as a 2-day in the same location with turf laid down and pushed back to last week in Sep.
But hey if they want to dream big and press for Corona Park/Prospect Park/God knows where else I'm down for something different. Just book Pearl Jam and Vampire Weekend.

I loved Snow Patrol back in the day, but I have no idea what their demand is now. I can't gauge if this Irving show will sell out instantly or still have tickets at the door the day of.

still think it would be great as a 3 day in the exact same setup tbh. I had a great time

Will sell out quickly but prices to get in second hand won't be insane. They haven't played the US since 2012 so people will be interested in, especially since they're only doing NYC and LA.

Tickets are $65 which is close to $80 after fees. Pretty steep, those are LCD prices in NYC. Interested to see if they have that dedicated of a fanbase.

Don't think they have a dedicated fan base but they did 2x at Terminal 5 in 2012, when they were already well past their relevancy date. Oddly enough, a newcomer named Ed Sheeran opened those shows.

So, I guess we can rule out most if not all of the names on that lineup, right?

Also, had no idea Lord Huron was a big as they are (1 Town Hall, 2 Brooklyn Steel shows).
Beacon Theatre, not Town Hall. Plus LPR tonight.
Yeah it's pretty surprising. They had a song featured in 13 Reasons Why that definitely gave them a bump. Spotify streams on that song are 205 million, their next biggest is 42 mil.

Alright, so, Tame Impala is now headlining Desert Daze in October in addition to Pitchfork in July. I noticed they don't have anything scheduled for mid-September, yet. C'MON UNIVERSE DON'T LET ME DOWN.
