God dammit if Meadows somehow ends up being 21-23 somehow, I'll fall over
Wouldn't be surprised. Sounds like they're pretty much at the mercy of whatever grassy location will let them do it in September. Doubt LiveNation allows them to do it the final weekend of September and go up against SeaHearNow. So that only leaves the 8th / 15th / 22nd weekends.

Yeah Florence seems kinda like a lock for this. She's going to play every festival in September it appears.
And if Vampire Weekend is going to be #7 at Lolla, they won't be 3 here.
They are a NY band, so they probably would be higher here than anywhere else. But def not a headliner.
They headlined Gov Ball before though?
What's your intel on this thus far? Not for artists, but as far as dates and location? I have Sept 21 in NYC totally free so if I could pull off a day at this i'd be thrilled

True. I guess its borderline. Its up in the air as far as I know.

Sounds like they could get the Yeah Yeah Yeah's at Gov Ball treatment. Advertised as a headliner for their hometown show, but are really a sub and not closing out the main stage on their day.

I don’t think they really view Sea.Hear.Now as a competitor, especially with that lineup.

They're both LiveNation Festivals. Ever if the lineups aren't comparable, they're still 2 multi-genre festivals with 90 minutes of each other. I highly doubt they'd run them the same weekend, especially since neither are slam dunks to sell well.

Let's say it's entirely venue-dependent at this point and it's truly 50/50....can they even book acts at this point under that assumption? Why would bands/acts skip their NYC dates on their tour and agree to play this if there is a good chance it gets cancelled? They'd then have to scramble behind schedule to land an NYC venue and promote for it.

Huh... I wasn't really planning on coming back for this because of Grandoozy, but I just realized that I'm probably not going to see a band play in NY for the first time in almost 30 years
