So I’ve been lookin’ into a new fest to try and this might be the one. The artists announced so far aren’t my bread and butter, but the lineups have overall been great to me! And if they snagged St. Paul and the Broken Bones and (a new favorite) Curtis Harding I might just have to pull the trigger. I know the CRB have been there once or twice, and if those three were there you could guess where I’d be!
In the schedule page, all of the blocked out names are the same length but on the rotating view on the main page it looks like the actual band names are there but fuzzed out. Friday night does not look long enough to be Panic.
Edit: Although the Relix stage ones don't look long enough to be JRAD but it has to be right?

I don't even know how much the blocked out names even mean. Sat and Sun look different but they're both Tedeschi Trucks Band.
I'm confused by the lineup because I just would imagine if they wanted to save money they'd just book bands like Twiddle, etc. to play 90 minute sets instead of more bands playing hour sets.
Who knew Sheryl Crow was so big on the jam scene? She’s playing Sunday before TTB. I’m underwhelmed so far.
She probably got the bug after touring with Willie Nelson last year. Would've preferred Willie...
Having seen Willie, I don't agree. He's a shadow of himself. I'd rather at least sing along to Sheryl Crow's 90s hits and reminisce about the Clinton years.

Unless they booked Twiddle to play 3 different hour-long sets

The way this year is going...I wouldn't even be surprised if the remaining are like...

Personally pumped with the Moon Taxi addition. They did an Allman Brothers cover (Whipping Post)/ extended jam with Eric Krasno at Deep Roots Fest last year that blew my mind. Plus I guess I'm just partial to them, been seeing them live a lot lately.
Looking forward to seeing Willie's son Lukas Nelson on Saturday. A few people have told me he is awesome live, and sounds like a younger healthier Willie, haha.
I want to know why there are so many versions of the poster. The "sponsored" one on Facebook clearly looks like WSMFP Friday night, there is another on Facebook that looks similar to the scrolling main page one, the scrolling one on the main page looks shorter and kind of like Neil Young and the one on the schedule page is the generic the same as everyone.
Undercard is definitely shaping up to be less stellar compared to previous years, guess that's the price of having Dead & Co.
That being said, I would argue UM -> George Clinton -> WSMFP (assuming) on Friday and Keller & The Keels -> Tedeschi Trucks Band -> Dead & Co would be pretty epic nights (haven't seen George Clinton, was excited until I started reading what you all have said about his recent show).
That Sunday is shaping up to be a rough one though until Dead & Co.

This lineup is basically what we expected. They went for bands that are established and aren't (for the most part) playing Peach fest. Last year the crossover was insane. This year, not so much. It seems similar to the Phish year as far as quality...when you're a small festival spending that much on one band, of course it's not going to be an insanely deep lineup.
They honestly should have just announced everything at once after Dead & Co. Or at least started with more small names and built up.
This is just highlighting how disappointing each addition is.
The fact that all the biggest names except for Panic have been announced is sad.
The lineup is going to have Dead and Co (x4), WSP, TTB (X2), JRAD (x2), UM (x3), Lettuce (x3). That is a very strong lineup.
Like I said before, some of this just stems from me not being a big traditional jamband fan. Those might be good bands but only half of them really move the needle for me. I get that I'm not the target audience and that this will undoubtedly excite many.
It's the left-field bookings that I find really disappointing. Sheryl Crow, Blues Traveler, and the shell of P-Funk doesn't come close to standing up against stuff like Fogerty, Brandi, Jim James, and John Butler Trio imo
Plus the early shows at the Blue Ridge Bowl last year had some of the best stuff on the lineup, so it'll be a shame if that's axed this go around.
