The emotional rollercoaster that is the Day for Night 2018 thread is quite comical. This is literally the first time I can remember a festival founder reassuring music nerds online and here we are, still.
Out: Nils Frahm, Flying Lotus, Thundercat, IDLES, MGMT, SOB x RBE, Shame, Olafur Arnalds/Kiasmos, Jorja Smith Feel like acts like Tame Impala, The Prodigy, Beach House or Janelle Monae are for sure gonna play Coachella next year, so that's why I left them out.

I'd rather see The Prodigy than any other act at D4N. They would be perfect. It's gonna happen!
I flew out to Denver to see them at Riot Fest 2015, and that was the hardest hitting show I've ever been to that I can think of off the top of my head. Maxim even said before Take Me To the Hospital at the end "if you got something harder than this, bring that shit to us!!"
It was extra awesome because they played the last day and at the same time as Snoop so there were prob only 2-3K at their set so we got up close no problem with plenty of rage space.
I'll say this, they were my favorite show of 2015 and I saw the Rolling Stones, the 13th Floor Elevators 50th anniversary reunion and all three Fare Thee Well Grateful Dead shows in Chicago.

I know d4n is technically within the coachella radius but artists have played both in the past. Also, why is Nils Frahm out?

It was more of a "don't jinx it bro!" dislike. Can't believe I'm explaining a dislike so much, I was just screwing with you.
Chem Brahs or Prodigy would be like 3rd at best on any Coachella lineup in this day and age I doubt there would be any significant issue with them playing both.

Pitchfork fucking blew it, desert daze is too expensive/one note, eaux claires is way too expensive. I could see myself trying to do III points if DfN closed out, but Miami isn't a very cheap city either from what I've heard.

My fiancé and I ordered two cocktails while down there. It was $33, not including tip. Also I distinctly remember a Corona being $11. It's ludicrous.

Riot fest 2015 was such a good show! Also drove to denver just for that day of the fest
If this is happening 12/15-16 we can count out Black Madonna, Honey Dijon, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Krystal Klear, Jayda G, Octo Octa, Lovefingers and Sasha. They are playing the warehouse project in the uk on the 15th.
