Nope. The dream is over. Coachella will drop us bits of goodness, but other than that the state of the US festival landscape looks bleak. It's all bad EDM and flavor of the week rock/rap.

Also we’re a week and a half into August. How long with no dates before we go back to assuming this thing is cancelled. If we get nothing next week I think we’re fucked.
I hope the fest and free press are in a place where Omar can step away operationally and financially but I’m not holding my breath.
Not just that, but what artist or corporate sponsor is going to want to associate themselves with this, even if he does leave?
Yeah, I think this is the end if it's in any way confirmed, and likely even if not. It was good while it lasted. Maybe some independent newspaper in Tulsa will take up the torch.
So looks like the affidavits are dated for this April, the police report was filed the day before last years fest, I wonder how long FPH has been sitting on this.
Also, this is the part that's got me most confused, and it's probably just ignorance, but is facebook that easy to hack? Omar's a big name, but he runs a newspaper not that many people read, there's some speculation as to how he gets the money to put on these fests, but there's also a ton of sponsors. I mean it's entirely possible that he has hacker friends, but the "an hour after this post went up, her account was hacked" thing reads weird to me, and afaik they didn't explain what exactly happened to tip them off it was hacked.
I remember arguing on here that the sexual assault case attributed to FYF’s demise. For those who didn’t believe me watch how this festival is reduced to nothing after the news makes its rounds.
a third woman who worked with him, not assaulted, said she believed them because he ran a toxic/manipulative work environment. Girls Rock Camp of Houston put out a big post. It's over. Fuck men.

Literally every single D4N team member I am friends with on Instagram has changed their bio's to remove any/all D4N references, and are already working on other projects. It's dead.
I'm really interested to see what FPH does here. Nothing so far, but they are a very 'white knight' paper (not to use that with a negative connotation, but they led a boy cott R Kelly thing just recently)
