The original intention was for YYYs to close Saturday playing opposite Travis Scott. Didn't work for their schedules, but that would have been so much better for the crowd and vibe. Look at what it did for Gaslight Anthem.

Agreed. Having seen them at three festivals, sadly none of the shows have been after dark
It is sort of unnecessary unless you are staying no where near the subway.
The yellow line drops off literally at the gates of the festival.
Oh wait, I think its just a deal on a bus ticket to Montreal? Yeah I mean, if you need a way to get to the city; taking a bus is as good as any option. I would prefer flying, train, or just driving there myself though. Not much of a bus guy.
ah got ya. we are driving and staying right by the subway already.

Bar hop down St Laurent Blvd. Tokyo is the big one that a lot of people go to. TRH is kind of cool because it has like a skateboarding half pipe in the middle of the bar. But warning that entire strip turns into a bit of a shit show later at night (gotta remember the drinking age is 18+). boulevardsaintlaurent.com/en/service/bars-boites-de-nuits-lounges/
Also not on St. Laurent, but I recommend checking out Le Sainte-Elisabeth. Train ride away, but worth the ride. The bar itself is a bit more mature crowd and laid back; and the bar itself has a really dope outdoor area. The neighborhood its in is really chill too; if you are looking to cop some plants that will soon be legal in Montreal anyway, the park near the subway stop is the place to go.
Also not a bar suggestion but if you have time definitely try to have dinner at Le Robin Square. One of the best meals I have had in my life.
Also Montreal is pretty well known for having the best strip clubs in the world if you are looking to get that crazy.
any nightlife recommendations for Thursday night? I guyess for after the fest nights too, any aftershows?

Also highly recommend heading to Sainte Catherine St one night. Over the summer they line the streets with these really crazy overhead lights; its a great sight. The neighborhood is really chill too. If you are looking to cop some plants that will soon be legal in Montreal anyway, thats the area I'd head to

Would anyone be able to pick up my friend and I from the airport for this. We’ll give you some money. Just don’t want to spend Uber prices if we don’t have to

There's a cheap bus that takes you direct into downtown.. bus 747 for like $10. You'll see signs and information just outside baggage claim

What conflicts do we all think are the most likely, and what conflicts are you most afraid of?
I think Travis Scott v. James Blake is a lock, and I'll be curious to see whether it's Tyler or .Paak against AM (unless one of them is pre-HL?). Sunday I'm less worried about because I assume Modeselektor will be closing out their stage and I'll still have time to see The National.
I'm just envisioning lots of logical but heartbreaking ones like De La Soul vs. Future Islands or Franz vs. Blood Orange. Also St. Vincent, YYYs, Blake and Leon Vynehall are all must-sees for me and I just don't see how there could be 0 overlap at all between those four
Interested to hear other perspectives on this.. if it isn't obvious, I really want the damn schedule to drop, like, yesterday
Would also suck. I kinda see Future Islands on the main stage a bit earlier in the day, but I have nothing to base that on beyond intuition and the acts on lines 2 and 3
