Is Travis Barker even cleared to play shows yet? If not, it looks like they are losing their 1st and 4th billed acts. Lack of communication is kind of their thing and I'm sure they are scrambling.
Blink announced a run of dates around Riot Fest pretty recently. I don't think they would have done that if Travis hadn't been cleared. I agree the lack of announcements is likely due to booking issues, but not because of Blink.
A month away with no 3rd headliner, no daily lineup, and no schedule. It's okay though, we'll have some more sarcastic, quirky tweets for everyone today.
It's frustrating, but they're not doing this to be dicks. Safe to assume they're having some sort of issue/s preventing them from making more announcements.

Visiting my sister in Chicago this weekend and can only go Saturday while she works. Hoping for some of Beck, Interpol, The Voidz, Jesus Lizard to play Saturday later in the day so I can catch them after the Cubs game. Chicago natives my sister lives in Logan Square. Is the L train is my best bet of transportation?

So wait, it leaked last week that Bauhaus is headlining but the festival still hasn't officially announced it? And the festival is in 9 days? WTF is going on, this is the worst planning I've ever seen.
Even if they officially announce it today, how many people do they think are gonna be able to fly in for a 3 day vacation with only 9 days notice?
Assuming the Bauhaus leak is accurate, I imagine Mr. Murphy's visa issues could be holding up any announcement. I guess that was just something Riot Fest was willing to deal with.

Yeah that's such a clever marketing move. Run the Jewels and Taking Back Sunday were 100% going to be part of the second wave (which is now coming tomorrow). They probably just got Weezer as the replacement and realized it wasn't as big of a name so they bundled it like this in the announcement.
If you read the statement by Riot Fest, they were about to.announce a special third headliner. Hopefully this is the Bauhaus \ Peter Murphy leak from last week. riotfest.org/2018/09/weezer-rtj-tbs-fill-in-4-blink/

We may tell tomorrow by the additions of they were going to be announced. Taking Back Sunday plays almost every year, so I would assume that they just packaged them in with Weezer and RTJ. Either way, these are good additions that will add to the depth of the line-up that it sorely needed!

I know for a fact that Bauhaus will do U.S. shows. It's a "I know someone (my fucking mom) that knows someone (her best friend from hs who runs a 5-star bnb in SF) that is really good friends with David J"-type situation. So yeah they probably are the third headliner for Riot Fest.

I did. They have been stalling and have given false hopes of an announcement for a while. At this point, it is reasonable to be skeptical.
5 minutes! Just gotta say I saw RTJ subheadline for Weezer at 80/35 in 2015 and both shows were killer! I do agree that RTJ and TBS were probably already in the second wave, but I honestly believe them when they say Weezer was last minute.
They're going to announce the third headliner at 10am. Hope this helps.
They announced aftershows, so now I feel silly. I'm guessing this is not the only announcement today.
They said announcements, so I would be surprised if there isn't something else today. After shows are on sale at noon, so it makes sense to announce them first.
