Idk about you guys btw but here in Europe, or in most countries of Europe, festivals announce their bands/artists just like we're doing right here which I always kind of preferred to the American way of announcing line ups. You're always in for a surprise, you're never really sure what you're gonna get and if there's been a dissapointing announcement, you can always look forward to the next one in a few days.
I agree with this. This is how Bonnaroo used to do it, right? Just different waves of several artists?

I really appreciate how this is the second draft and there was a month long discussion before the draft, but rule change proposals are still getting dropped daily it seems.

I don't think the pre-draft discussion was particularly robust, to be fair.
That's not me being butt-hurt about this new proposal failing. I'm good with it. I'd rather neuter a rule that I disagree with, if possible, but keeping the rules the way they are is fine for me.

I agree. I'm fine with the rules the way they are, but the exclusivity aspect of this draft is new, so for me at least it's hard to think ahead about how it's going to hypothetically play out in order to discuss it before the draft.
