The man is possibly the greatest tight end to ever play the game. He's a surefire hall-of-famer. Do not sully his legacy with facts about the trash heap that was the late-nineties to late-2000s Cowboys.
That wasn't his fault.
First-ballot Hall of Famer for sure. Going to wear my 82 jersey proud this season.
Rather than get one through the draft, i'd like to see Dallas go after a vet TE, like Marcedes Lewis or Antonio Gates, to go along with the platoon of Rico Gathers, Geoff Swaim, and Blake Jarwin.

I’d be happy with Gates as a one year placeholder.

At first I was wondering what was Dallas thinking by trading for Tayvon Austin. It ended up being a decent move after trading Ryan Switzer and adding Jihad Ward to the defense.

How many mouth breathing 'Muricans gonna flip their shit over a guy named Jihad?

Well, he was born in the mid 90s, before I ever knew what the word Jihad meant. But, I agree. There will be a lot of folks hating on him. Hell, after Googling him to find out his age, I feel like now I'm on a watch list.
EDIT: Holy shit. I just realized his name is "jihad war" with a D at the end of it. That guy needs a nickname.

Step 1: Relieve fans around the Carolinas by letting them know that you will sign the checks and stay out of the way, all with no interest in moving the team elsewhere. Step 2: Take that fucking statue down.
Edit: Was so excited to eventually get a picture in front of the panthers guarding the stadium. Was excited to get a picture with the big dog too. Fuck him. He doesn't deserve to be the owner of the Panthers anymore than he gets to pretend like the family-first mantra of that organization was ever anything more than a ruse. At least in Arlington they know who they are dealing with.

Y'all. An actual football game is happening tomorrow. I mean, it's going to be a bunch of guys who will probably get cut using a playbook of like ten plays, but it's FOOTBALL.

We will get to see some Lamar Jackson. I remember The last time Dallas was in the HOF game. It was Dak’ rookie year and Romo wasn’t lost to injury yet. Dak was projected to be third string behind injured Kellen Clemens and played most of the game and was amazing. I only remember two incompletions, both drops by TE Geoff Swaim, and he made a big deep throw to Dez. I already knew Dallas had their new backup. I’ll check out some of the game tomorrow.
Who's favorite team has the Jags on their schedule this season? Wondering if I'll have a chance to meet at a game.
My mid-tier team caught the unfortunate schedule rotation of having to face both the NFC and AFC South this year after those conferences sent a combined 5 teams to the playoffs last year. I doubt I’ll be attending any games though.

I could end up in Dallas though. I'll keep this in mind.
texans have a winning record against 8 teams, its a real who's who, Bears, Dolphins, Lions, Bucs, Browns, Bengals, Raiders, Jags. They've also been outscored by the Bengals somehow despite winning 2 more games. Under 25% wins against 12 teams.
has no bearing on anything, just felt it needs to be out there when people say "we're a qb away" eventually at some point this year.

I bet they make the playoffs this season. I see the Titans falling out and Houston could take the division since the Jags offense looks pretty pitiful on paper except for Fournette. Watson is probably the best QB they’ve had. Schaub was good for a bit and David Carr never really had a chance behind that expansion team o-line.
Just got tickets to take my four year old to the Bills - Bengals preseason game. It'll be her first NFL game, though she's been to a bunch of D3 college games because my dad coached up through last season. I'm more excited than she is.

Don’t ruin it by exposing her to the mafia. She’ll hate football the rest of her life. Probably men too.

Well, it's preseason and kid's day so hey exposure should be minimal. We won't be tailgating, though.

I could never be ashamed of sticking with my home team through thick and thin.
