That pass interference on the Steelers was absolutely ridiculous. Saints got a huge break on that.
It was. I thought he could have gotten 2 calls farther up the field, but I didn’t like the end zone call. Nevertheless, this is a critical game for both teams and is pretty good so far.
I mean, at this point do you try to see what you can get for Wentz? He's great, but they're successful with Nick, and with the back injury I feel like you need to try to pull a fast one on a QB needy team.

Good game for the Steelers so far. We will win the NFC next week if we don’t convert here but props for a crazy game plan to go 4 or 5 receivers every down. We make you play crazy shit.

Our HR department bussed us down to the Dolphins game today. It's a funny thing how you can be jumping up and down for a game-clinching pick 6 as it is happening, and then become upset about it as soon as the game ends because draft position.
Insane game by nick, Texans are good team, but 470/4 is bonkers. I’m gonna be a huge bears fan Sunday.
Texans aren't a good team. Deshaun and Nuk are pulling magic out of their ass.
I don't know if you saw the graphic yesterday, but Nuk has set a milestone this season for most catches in a season without a drop since PFF has been keeping the stat.

Yea, he's amazing. He was putting up crazy numbers with all those bad qbs they had, now that he has a good one, they're going to do special things together. They have to get help though. O-line is terrible and none of the other wr's can stay healthy.
Yeah. It’s disappointing to think the Steelers have only those two paths to the playoffs (win/Bal loss) or the Colts tying. It’s a weird year for the AFC. You figure one team from the East and one from the West every year with the North taking two or three (good Bengals years) and the South 1 or 2 is a relatively safe bet. Y’all are too good of a team to be home in the New Year. You came in and played us an atypical game, covered the spread and probably would have won had Ted Ginn not been activated off I.R. And what I mean by atypical was not that Big Ben can’t chunk it 50 times in a game, but that seemingly was the game plan. Y’all might have lined up I 2 or 3 times all game and ran out the shotgun mostly. It was a good formula in our matchup that had JuJu not been stripped, might well have been heading to overtime.
I think a lot of people felt the same way after the Chiefs vs Rams game. That’s a rematch you’d want to see in the Super Bowl. If we can clear the hurdles and get there, I kind of want the Patriots. And if we get them and win, I’d want to do it again next year. 3 Super Bowls puts Brees in the argument for all time 1 with Brady which I think he’s #2 at this point based on individual achievement but not enough team success. If we were in the AFC East, the Patriots would not have had the same level of success but c’es la vie. I hope you guys find a way.
Carlos Hyde is bad, that trade was bad, sorry this seasons been such a disaster Jortles.
I'm sorry for Jortles too. Rooting hard for Jags today but they are a sorry bunch. Jortles was telling me in this thread earlier this year that only Mack from the Bears defense could start on the Jags. The stats said otherwise then I believe in week 4 and they have just been cemented since then. Conversely, some of these Jags defenders would have a hard time staying on the Bears PRACTICE squad. Can't stop the run inside or out. Can't defend the pass. Undisciplined play leads to getting gashed for big plays or maddening amounts of penalty yardage. On the plus side they should have nice draft position. So the question is to do you draft offense to try to take some of the pressure off the defense wearing down or do you draft defense since they have been absolutely dismal? If they have as much talent on the defense as the hype and fanboys say then perhaps they should fire the the defensive coordinator and draft all offense.

They'll probably take a QB, they should really try to rebuild the line though. I feel like taking Lock is just going to be Gabbert all over again for them.
Marrone has to go, no one seems to be interested in this game at all.
If they could get some decent draft picks for Fournette I would do that too. They need help. It's not like anyone in that AFC south is dominant so Jags could be contending as soon as next year.
Shitty game by the Saints backups today. But Michael Thomas sets our all time receiving yardage in a season record with 1,405 yards and also shatters his previous team record with 125 catches in the season which is 5th most all time in the NFL (passing the man, Herman Moore). Thomas also has the most receptions all time in his first 3 seasons destroying the record formerly jointly held by Beckham and Landry (14-15-16).
Looking forward to the afternoon games for sure. As to the Jags, I disagree gc and love Coach Marrone. Jags have taken chances on the wrong quarterbacks for years. They need to go in a different direction there, and it would be a shame if they botch shit next year by sticking with Bortles imho

Jags just announced Marrone will be back in 2019. I was questioning Wash coming back as DC. Maddogmattis was calling for Barrone replacement. No offence taken being misquoted but save the fake news for the politics thread 😉
