dolphins job is one of the worst coaching opportunities in recent memory. they have absolutely no core to build around, no qb, and a disinterested fanbase.

But they beat us at home every year. Winning the midseason super bowl has to mean something

I wouldnt blame Kris Richard for leaving for the Miami gig since i think he’ll be an awesome HC but i mean... its the Miami Dolphins HC job.. not the best opportunity right now. He’ll have better opportunities next season after he takes over for Rod Marinelli as our DC. Hes such an integral part of why our defense has been the way it is this season.
Gase seems like a prime candidate for the "everyone would have had a shitty record with those teams" second chance.
But he went to the Jets. They aren't exactly swimming in talent and there is actually a media market and fanbase to ride him in NYC.
Yeah. Not at all convinced that he's going to be much better there. Just think some are gonna give him a pass. If he stinks it up in New York, he'll be direct back to coordinator for somewhere.
Sean Payton's thing with the Lombardi trophy on top of $225k, sounds pretty badass
My prediction: winner of Saints vs. Big Dick Nick wins the Super Bowl.
Yeah. Supposedly he busted that out but only with 100k in 2009. Morestead, Brees and Bushrod would be the three still on the team from back then. But it’s the Bill Parcels motivational shit for sure.
Bengals are going to wait until the Cowboys beat the Rams this weekend to make their announcement official but they want Rams QB coach Zac Taylor. Dolphins are leaning toward hiring Pats DC Brian Flores over Kris Richard (yesssss *napoleon voice*).
Five of those teams fired minority coaches, and none of them have hired a minority so far (though if the Dolphins do go with Flores, that would be one).
That makes it 3 out of 32 coaches that would be minorities in the league, right? Tomlin, Lynn, Flores. That's shameful.

At least a majority of the new hires aren't the same tired old white men that are just being passed around.
I know the Chiefs failures at home in the playoffs, but this is Mahomes in the playoffs against a bad pass defense. The list of QBs the Colts have faced this year is something, they are in for a rude awakening today. I've talked myself into the Chiefs laying the points.

That's a fair point. Best Qb colts have faced may be Brady and they gave up 38 points that day. Maybe wishful thinking on my part. I've attended a couple of the those Colts playoff victories against KC (4-0 against KC in playoffs). The other trend is your friend factor I was looking at is the rookie qb 1st start in playoffs. I forget the exact number but 1st playoff rookie starters were something like 4-14? But yea Arrowhead will be rocking and KC looks better on paper. But if that young stud O-line for the Colts allow them to establish the run effectively then lookout.

Oh yeah, I know all the reasons the Chiefs won't win today! I think the over is close to a lock in this game because both defenses are outclassed. The 5.5 is a weird spot because it could be a game where there are no FGs, and it's like 42-35, or if there are FGs it could be a six point deficit. If it were a half point higher I'd take Colts and the points I think.
Rams were the better team. Everyone in town wanted to get a rematch with the cowboys if we beat the eagles. Rams will be a tough opponent no matter who wins tomorrow.
Rams were just a better team. Shit, no one even thought we’d make the playoffs let alone go 7-1 in second half of the season. Dak and Garrett won me over. Linehan will go and our offense will get better. Should focus on the o line, d line and secondary in the draft/ and extending our own players during free agency and we’ll be fine.
