Hopefully we get some good games today or at least a good early game and a saints blowout win if that’s possible.
Patriots are -4 and o/u looks to be about 47.5 or so. It’s hard to ever bet against the Patriots at home in the playoffs. That’s suicidal. But could the Chargers get it within 4? It looks like mostly sunny and 20’s but I didn’t catch if it was windy or not. If it is, you’d think the under maybe? ?
Saints are -8 and o/u is 52. I have no call or guess on the game. I somewhat like our chances to win, but beyond that I have no idea. Supposedly the defense has something new for the world. I hope they get to use whatever it is. Also, despite what Coach Payton said, I think Jenkins and others have extra motivation and will be pissed.
Got the local tv station tailgate on the small tv. Loooks like an ultra drunk crowd is in the offing for the Saints game. Too many bud lots in peoples hands but still, if they drink enough of that swill they can match the hardcores.

I reckon if you would have told Eagles fans, after the Chip Kelly "era", that this would be the next three seasons, they wouldn't have thought twice about it. It was a heck of a run, and should be a factor again next year.
Early lines - Saints -3, Chiefs -2.5 (as a guess)
Saints Chiefs, Rams Chiefs both would be cool. Saints/Rams vs. Pats would be cool too except quack the Pats.
A butterfingered missed catch leading to a season-ending interception. Yeah that stings. We looked like things were clicking on that last drive until that. What could have been... Oh well.
Well I sure hope it's more entertaining than the best 4 teams in college football playoff. The NFL got one team from the east, west, south and Midwest so maybe that will boost the ratings higher yet.

No doubt about it. They brought big time excitement back to the franchise. I thought they would follow our lead from 2009 and get the Super Bowl Hangover. That lasts well into February and March and sets teams back. The first half of the season looked that way, but then the Eagles came out and kicked ass the second half of the season winning exactly what they needed to win and then going into Chicago and beating the Bears, a team all the pundits were saying could go into New Orleans or Los Angeles and win (yeah, but they have to win at home first pundit dummies). Eagles played us to the end and were driving for a shot at a winning touchdown when Jeffery missed that catch that fell into Lattimore's hands. Other than a little bitterness, the Super Bowl glory still lasts for a few years too. Being in that number is something that not a lot of teams recently can claim, and for several teams, not at all.
I don't know what happens next. We'll have to play a better game to beat the Rams. And we'll have to be better still to beat either the Chiefs or Patriots. There's no telling what happens in the playoffs. You want to be the home team because that gives you an advantage. But any given Sunday...
