well Vegas always has different odds for the 'Boys because of how much the laymen bet on them. I'm sure the Eagles are going to be over bet on now as well just since they won.

First two minutes of Hard Knocks: Coleman looks slow in practice so they start running him with the second team. "If yall don't want to play me why don't yall just trade me?"
Third minute of Hard Knocks: Coleman gets traded for a seventh rounder.

I'm pretty much done with watching pro football at this point, but Hard Knocks is the jam.

Still taking the chargers move hard?
Fuck them.
It's partly that and just all the stuff coming out about the lifelong/deadly injuries players have been suffering for decades. Takes the shine off a bit.
Hard Knocks is making me kinda believe in the Browns more than I should. I was feeling EXTREMELY confident about the Saints week 2 match at home against them, but Hard Knocks is making me almost sweat.

Yep. Plus, it's hard to support a company as terrible as the NFL. They don't care about what is right or ethical, just about protecting the brand. They go whichever way the wind blows and have zero principles. I love the Bears, but I just can't support the NFL anymore.

They make every team look good. The Bucs ended up winning like 3 games last year.

Haha. Alright, we're on $50/game for Saints v. Bucs both matchups (or 3 if you guys make the playoffs and get unlucky enough to face us).
I most likely will not be at that game, but you're certainly welcome to swing by the crib on your way into town if you want to drink whiskey before heading in.

You guys make the NFC South more enjoyable for me to follow. I appreciate that about all you Panther/Falcon/Saint/Buc fans.
Now we need some Seabag/Ram/9er/Cardinal fans to make that great division even more fun to follow.
Yeah. For a division of newer teams (Saints and Falcons in the mid 60's, Bucs in the 70's and then Panthers in the 90's), we pretty much all really hate each other. For me, the teams I hate the most are the Falcons, Panthers and 49ers (due to the long-standing divisional jealousy when we were a part of the NFC West). I hate the Bucs too but not nearly at the level I hate the Panthers and Falcons. But even the teams don't like each other and certainly the fan bases don't either. Saints vs. Falcons rivalry really heated up in the Jim Mora years. Busloads of fans from either city would travel to the other. There's a lot of family crossover, especially in the African American community, and you know sports allegiance can be particularly important among members of that community. But same goes for white people too. And what better feeling to be on the road, beat some mfers and go second lining around their stadium rubbing their faces in shit. And while it may be redneck SEC Country, make no mistake that I would not cheer for either the Falcons or Panthers in a Super Bowl under any circumstances. This ain't no brotherhood. This is hatred.
Saints were 14-1 last week to win so 7th overall and 5th in the NFC. The schedule, after the first 5 weeks, looks rough as shit. There are also 5 primetime games in there, so we'll be under the microscope. I think we're good, but I also don't have a problem with the odds of us winning 9.5 games. Divisional games are usually tough, so even though we play the Bucs in the stretch, that's no gimme.

at Ravens (4:05 game of the week)
at Vikings (Prime Time)
Rams (4:25 game of the week)
at Bengals
Eagles
Falcons (Prime Time)
at Cowboys (Prime Time)
at Bucs
at Panthers (Prime Time)
Steelers (4:25 game of the week)
Panthers
I have no doubt they’ll make the playoffs, barring injury to Brees or other key players. I just feel like they can go on a good run once they get there. They have a veteran leader, running and passing attack, and are solid at almost every position with what should be one of the top defensive backfields this season.
It's looking like Mack to the Bears. Reported asking price is two firsts. Wished the Bills brought him back to Buffalo but they have too many holes for that compensation.

And the Bills just cut him.
Wow. That's a pretty rapid turn of events for him. I say he'll get signed by someone but at a reduced price from his last contract.
Khalil Mack to da Bears. Great move. I've been on the Bears bandwagon just in case Dallas' line collapses and shreds our season to smithereens. NFC in all is going to be tough and very entertaining.
