Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'm in if ya'll want to meet a Roo virgin before June. I just asked my boyfriend for p-funk tickets for my birthday, so I'm pretty sure we'll go.
Also, if anyone is down....The Skatalites are playing at The Flamingo Cantina on 6th next Friday....it should be a good time. I've seen them before and it's always a good show.
I have to rush to the show from work, so no pre-gaming for me. I'm definitely down for some in-gaming though.
The Skatalites are also headlining Saturday at Reggae Fest, which I'll be at as well.

Great to see so many Tejas Roosters with April B-days, mine's the 25th. If anyone in Houston is looking for some free fun this upcoming Sunday April 19th i'm throwing a crawfish boil and oyster roast at my house and I welcome all you wonderful people to attend. Beer and food are provided, just bring an appetite and a lawn chair. pm if interested.

i bought my tickets for old crow at stubb's on may 9th!
i was still keeping hope that they might be added to bonnaroo lineup, but i decided i didn't want to miss them in austin either way.
i'm soooooooooooooo jealous. of course the year i finally plan a big trip to chicago for my birthday(which is may 9th), a band i'm dying to see is playing in austin. bah! oh, well...let us know how it is!!
i will, however, be at marley fest here in austin that festival is proof that you can hot box in the outdoors
...I heard it's supposed to rain alllll weekend. As long as it's warm rain, I guess it won't be bad, but the past few weeks we've had beautiful Monday-Thursday and then weekends are cloudy....c'mon Mother Nature!
i will, however, be at marley fest here in austin that festival is proof that you can hot box in the outdoors
This is soooo true. The MC of the festival, Jah Real, cracks me the quack up, too.
And yes I know the Ehlers. I actually bumped into Mary at Voodoo this year and ended raging Ghostland with her. Her dad was the elementary school's principal ,too, I think.
Edit: Anyone going to Happy Cronicah sat night at the Asylum? It was hella fun last year, and I don't expect it to dissapoint this year.

what?! i didn't even know mary was into the festie scene! of course, we didn't really hang out much once we got older and were involved in so much more. i'm from seguin, so we weren't really close or anything. man...that's good to know, though!
and yeah...her dad was the principal at the elementary school. her dad was my dad's best man

Anyone going to see George Clinton and P-Funk in Houston? Looking to split a 4 pack of tickets (they are cheaper than regular single tickets). If anyone is interested hit me up!
Anyone going to the Ghostland show May 9th in Houston? I am planning on it so hit me up if anyone is interested in drinks pre or post!
so i can never find any good shows on my birthday EVER. last year i finally found brett dennen, so that was awesome, but man...this year old crow medicine show is playing in austin, and ghostland is in houston...and i'm in friggin' chicago
ghostland is also playing again in july at the whitewater ampitheatre, close to new braunsfels. (sp??)
caught them there last year. it was a good show, but kind of a let down after the bonnaroo show. plus a lot more drunky fratty daddies who more interested in talking and/or drinking 10.5 beers in one hour. beauuuuutiful venue though.

yeah, i was supposed to go to that show last year, but i ended up going to mile high fest instead. i figured nothing would compare to bonnaroo anyway...lol
i bet the venue is pretty, though...that area is. i think it's closer to canyon lake, but that's just outside of new braunfels (no "S" in the middle )
Fellow Houstonians, some cool stuff going on at Cactus Music the next couple of days. Today, I think at 5 or 5:30, a listening party for the new Ben Harper. and tomorrow, Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears at 5:30, free and free beer!

hey Texas I hope all of you are in good spirits, healthy and ready for the farm. i'm sick of May already. oh well, just about a month to go. still in need of ride or travel companions. which stage hopefully has screens this year, cuz that place is gonna be packed.

saw old crow last night at stubb's. sooooo good! they were so into it and put on a really great show. it was so easy to get up really close. they only weird thing was that they took like a 25 min intermission. when they all came back....let's just say, their eyes were all a little bit more crazy looking. haha. it was hot as heck, but everyone was jammin along. ugh. i really wish they would add on the farm.

Man, it's daily struggle to keep focused on the day to day stuff, Bonnaroo keeps taking me away! We leave out Wednesday morning and even though our car is full is any one interested in starting a caravan from Houston? Where is everyone spending the night Wednesday?
if you like ska, you might want to check out a band called liquid cheese. they are personal friends, and the music is really good. i would describe the sound as ska with a latin feel. they are playing at the flamingo cantina in austin this coming sat, san antonio on sunday, corpus christi on monday, denton on tuesday (5/19), and houston on wednesday (5/20)
