Next year I am planning on going to SXSW Bonnaroo and Glastonbury. I hope I can pull off Roo, Glastonbury gets priority though. Still got time to figure it out.

Anyone going to the Back Door Slam show at Stubb's this Sunday? If it's awesomeness comes anywhere close to their roo or SXSW sets, it will be legendary. And, it's only 13 bucks, w00t!
New to Roo going, but not to Texas. Lolla this year was my first festival but I intend to hit Bonnaroo in '10. I've lived in Texarkana for years but moved to Denton for fall semester, there's a pretty great indie music scene.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

I saw Maserati and Mono at Hailey's (Denton) in October. Awesome show other than the fact that Mono was a complete blur due to some sort of minor blackout, Jerry Fuchs is no longer with us and I slid into a curb driving home a block away from my house and annihilated a couple wheels. Thank God for Pita Pit though, its a lifesaver before heading back to Fort worth.

you know, i listened to the entire Neon Indian album, and i was just really bored with it all. it's not BAD by any means, but it doesn't get me moving, or really invoke any kind of emotion.
anyone in houston know what time shows at rich's start? im going to the infected mushroom show tomorrow, but have no clue as to what time it starts. also, if anyone is interested, i have an extra ticket to the show, and am willing to let it go for anywhere from free to $10. i paid $10 a piece and just dont want to see the other ticket go to waste.

Would have liked to have seen Todd again.I can't go to shows M-Th anymore because of night classes.I really wanted to see Dex Romweber Duo and Exene Cervenka at HOB Thurs. I looked into Dawne Lands, the Kentucky born/Brooklyn based folk singer opening for Justin Townes and Chris Knight. She sounds good,I guess I'll check this show out 2/6 @ Granada.I want to hear some of JT's new songs.
Garth Algar: Do you ever get the feeling Benjamin's just using us?
Wayne Campbell: Good call. It's like he wants us to be liked by everyone. I mean Led Zeppelin didn't write tunes everybody liked. They left that to the Bee Gees.
6/18: Phish in Hartford 6/25: Phish in Camden 7/2-7/4: Nateva 7/17: God Street Wine at Irving Plaza 7/23-7/25: String Cheese at Red Rocks!! 8/17-8/18: Phish at Jones Beach 9/3: Rush at PNC
This Bonnaroo lineup is in dire need of some Rush.
even though they are going to be at bonnaroo, i'm hitting up phoenix at stubb's in austin on april 29th. tickets go on sale on friday.
i really wanted to catch vampire weekend at stubb's on april 10th, but it sold out super quick. now 25$ tickets are going for 100$ on craiglist!!! i love them, but not that much.
nevermind to phoenix! had a friend who was trying to buy us tickets the hour they went on sale and they were already sold out. crazy.
austin needs a good in-between sized venue....bigger than stubb's, but smaller than the erwin center.....i guess the austin music hall. but i've seen a show there and didn't really like it.
cEvin Key is playing tomorrow night in Dallas!!!! If you just know him from Skinny Puppy (or not at all), check out some of the platEAU songs on youtube. Really good trip hop stuff.
This plus Shpongle coming to Dallas in May is amazing!!
