I am tempted to go to Lady Gaga Friday to see her show once, I am dragging my feet on it right now. I am missing silversun Pickups at Palladium tonight and probably shouldn't remind myself. At least I can see them at ACL.
No major shows planned yet. Probably Crystal Castles and Ghostland when they come through, but I am still kind of pissed Crystal Castles management got my youtube account suspended.

I am starting my youtube account over from scratch and lost my 500 subscribers and all the people that friended me along with 1.8 million video views from my 1000+ videos. Youtube never sent me an official email, but I am pretty sure it was Crystal Castles at Glastonbury footage that got my third copyright violation on youtube. They seem to go after all the new footage from their shows and have killed a few peoples accounts.
I was gonna see if I could get it reinstated, but I am leaning towards trashing their management team until they get rid of that policy. We will see.
Bob Dylan at Austin City Limits got my two other strikes on my account. It's a three strikes your out policy on youtube.
Starting over is a total biznatch.
If you are on youtube, subscribe to my new account if you liked my videos. I am gonna finish my glastonbury stuff and then get my best of back up.
I'll subscribe too. That really sucks to have tp start from scratch, but at least now I know about it now. Off topic, but can you change your username on youtube? I want to but do not see a way to do it.

Fort Worth Jazz Fest is saturday with Telegraph Canyon playing, and Crystal Castles is next Tuesday. I plan on going to both. This will make the fourth time I have seen Crystal Castles, I plan on full participation and maybe taking a couple pictures.

Have a blast everyone attending ACL. I love this years line-up. I'll have to make do with Local Natives at HOB on Wednesday and Those Darlins/The Soft Pack at Sons Of Hermann on Thursday. Anyone in the Dallas area should come out. I'm really expecting the Hermann Hall show to be lots of fun.

Anyone planning on going to NX35 (35 conferette) in Denton or SXSW? I am debating on NX35, but SXSW is a certainty. Hopefully they have another free show at NX35 like the Flaming Lips last year.

NX35 is like a mini SXSW, but it is a wristband type event for all the venues in town. I went last year for the free Flaming Lips concert they had which was rated as one of the best shows in DFW last year. I am still debating on going, but will hit up free shows if they have them.
Here is the line-up, it's not bad and already better than last years. Not a huge draw for travelling to yet like SXSW is.
Portugal. The Man will be there as well, www.prekindle.com/promo/id/21594022074124136. I wasn't going to go before but Portugal may have pushed me over the edge, especially since I'm getting a free roo ticket. I hope Big Boi is a free show like the FLips were last year though.

Wristbands are $85 until the end of the week. It is supposed to take place using 10 venues and 2 outdoor stages in Denton. No clue if they are going with a free show, but i am expecting one.
Also, Big Boi played a free show at SMU in Dallas with Girl Talk, but got shut down early before girl Talk since it was outside at SMU in douchebag central.

The summer Fest line-up is decent, I would love to see Weezer play the Blue album and Pinkerton, but can't make it since I have family coming from out of town.
Check in if you are from Texas and going to Bonnaroo. I already have my tickets.

On board w/ at least 4 from Houston. Would be great to see you lovelies on the farm again this summer. Skipped last year to go to Sasquatch(which is a great fest btw) but we are super excited w/ the lineup and cant wait for June!
