What's happening on the 25th? Is that a guess, or did I miss a post? Rostam, Perfume Genius, Lucius, a film on Justin Timberlake... there's definitely a pop-side to this festival. I really love the diversity! Just got back from "Psycho Las Vegas" and saw King Buffalo live... they'd be a great fit here.

Check that tweet I posted. Dropping the full line-up on the 25th.

Phase 4: The Comet is Coming, Yves Tumor, Kara-Lis Coverdale, Peter Gregson.
So fucking stoked on The Comet Is Coming and Yves Tumor and two names to start checking out. I'll update the playlist later.
I'm sure you'll like Kara-Lis Coverdale. I'd start with Grafts, which was released by Boomkat Editions last year and was included in some best-of lists.

On it after the kids go down so I can pay attention. I have Channel The Spirits on repeat watching them dance around.

By the way, I almost bought tickets when I saw the announcement today, then I hardly convinced myself to wait a bit longer. No brainer if I lived around there, but I think I have to wait for September 25 to pull the trigger.

I'm booking a hotel tonight. I still can't bring myself to pay the money to stay downtown. Plus, I know of two different Waffle Houses now. I'm pretty much set outside of the city.
Me: "I'll hold out till I get the full line-up" Also me: "Wait. Weird ass jazz and a bucket list artist? I'm all in."
Officially booked at a Super 8 in North Knox. Spring is my new summer, y'all.
I'm guestimating that we only have about 30% of the artists announced so far... but I'm booked for my 5th year w/ a VIP ticket & a downtown hotel. Everything is set but the flight... can't wait for the 25th!

might wanna look at how much is costs to fly into knoxville's janky ass airport.
when I was pricing it out last year, it was cheaper to fly to nashville and rent a car then fly to knoxville, though YMMV.

Can second this. I saw an article that listed Knoxville as one of the most expensive airports in the country. abrakapokus flew back from NYC once and the flight into Nashville was half the cost.

Yeah, flying to Knoxville is out of question as r/t prices from LAX is around $500. With garageland's help, I found a $350 deal to RVA. I might make that happen. I'll keep Nashville in mind as well.
