I am 100% with you but if I had to choose between them and 21 Pilots though it wouldn't be to hard of a decision... Hopefully we aren't forced into both
Muse is announcing their tour Monday so I think they're probably out since they have confirmed they are doing Boston.
Gotta be honest twenty one pilots put on a hell of a show a couple weeks back at the garden, but I do think it just won't translate well to BC and won't be any different (besides a smaller production) than what they did already. Kinda hoping for Arctic Monkeys, but even then I want something *different* something *actually shocking*
I didnt mind Levitate honestly. Arctic Monkeys is one of my favorite bands and I'd love to see them back though. The Cure and KSG/Kanye being the other two headliners is the best case scenario for me though. Muse is deconfirmed

The Cure would be my best case as well. That being said they are not coming here.

So, Indie617 tweeted a "Who would you like to see at Boston Calling in 2019?" question this morning, tagging the Boston Calling feed.
Around the same time, another Indie617 tweet offered birthday wishes to Jonny Greenwood and wondered aloud, so to speak, if Radiohead is playing Boston Calling. The important thing to remember here is that Indie617 is the online radio station where a bunch of key WFNX/Phoenix Media Group staffers now work. Their WFNX/Phoenix colleagues included future Crash Line head honcho Mike Snow.
If any media outlet would be in a position to have credible info (and potentially be acting as an authorized leak by Crash Line), it would be Indie617.

As much as I'd love it, I'd need some bigger Radiohead rumors to get excited and Thom Yorke playing Coachella makes me doubtful
I'd be so happy if they played but yea I have many doubts. not only did they just do 2 nights in Boston this year but as you said it seems like Thom Yorke is gonna tour solo for a while.

Soooo Shaky Knees are announcing thier lineup next week, Hangout usually is Mid-November, and today was BC's last 'thorwback' post to look to the 'future' or whatever. Could it be possible we're getting at least a presale next week?
*edit- also Firefly is gearing up their presale and new logos and sutff, are all these festivals annoucning 'things' earlier now? None of this can just be a strange timing right?

It makes sense that Shaky would wanna get a jump on the competition, but it makes you think that if they’re dropping THIS early, they must have some indication that other fests might too?

Exactly, i feel like it's all too...organizedwith almsot all these festivals being way more active on socials and promos than in years past at this time of the year.
Now that thing BC psoted a week and a half ago with "We're gearing up to announce our 10th festival so here's a throwback..." seems a bit more planned out now we know at least one fest is annoucning their lineup next week.
Also, I didnt know BC updated their site. not much, but still New Spash Page
Their instagram just posted a video with a 1975 song playing. a little worried despite knowing theyre at agganis. I wonder if they're gonna announce next week since shaky knees is.

What would have made sense is if they used a twenty one pilots song, i found it odd they used a 1975 one. Thier BU show is the only show that is sold out on the tour...
The odd thing about a November lineup drop is that it all but rules out any act that's already announced a Boston area show in the next six months. I'm sure that Live Nation and AEG/Bowery Presents must have clauses in their artist contracts prohibiting acts from announcing other shows in the same market unless/until previously announced shows sell out.
