Yea, I took it at face value when I first saw it and just assumed I somehow missed out on that being announced. Thought I would have heard that but I've been out of the loop on a lot of music and concert stuff lately so I figured whatever.

I liked the one I saw where someone requested more/complained about rock acts on the lineup and their answer was "I see your username means your a fan of Phish. I like phish too." and that was it.

It's a mistake. I was looking up Lucy Dacus' tour schedule yesterday and she is playing Shaky Knees. It has her with a May 10 Central Park, NY tour date error just like the one for Tame Impala

I think a number of artists they really wanted couldnt come and then a couple more dropped and they are pretty mad about the whole thing, and are just passive aggressive now.

One thing that confuses/interests me:
When I asked which headliners were playing unopposed, they said The Strokes. But, they also said Gesaffelstein is closing the Honda and only overlapping Tyler for 5 minutes, and that Major Lazer is only overlapping Florence for 10-15 minutes. Sooooo...that would mean Florence and Tyler are also mostly unopposed? Unless I'm missing something.

Their responses didn’t rub me as wrong as it did other people. *shrug* Fwiw they give a lot more detail in this AMA than pretty much every other fest. It really helps give a window to what is going on with the festival scene and for that I’m glad they are doing it.

I didn't like the mean tweets video. The whole public interaction route they've gone with has rubbed me the wrong way. I've never been and while they've had single days that I wanted to attend they have yet to book a full lineup I could get into since I started doing multiple fests a year. Probably just not for me.

Hot take: the GovBall guys are salty that they don't have the credibility and cool-factor anymore which they had before their Live Nation merger.
To take it a step further, they are salty they *had to merge in the first place, because they were afraid of goldenvoice swallowing their boutique shop or eating them alive.

Beyond lineup, what did you guys like better about Pano over Gov Ball? I went to Gov Ball thrice (2014-16) and never Pano, so I'm just curious. I've got no loyalty to either.
