So is the Hideaway the Backyard? Or WTF happened there? Is there a map out somewhere?
There we some rumors on FB that the Dogfish Head tent and the Pavilion Stage were switching places. I'm guessing by the schedule the the Hideaway Stage replaced the Pavilion. Guessing The Prism is replacing The Backyard and no idea where The Roost is going to be...
The Prism is 100% the new Backyard. Zedd and Kygo will have some of the biggest crowds of the weekend - it needs in that giant space. Bit odd if it's open air to have basically raves going mid day in the brutal sun.
The Hideaway is probably going where the old StubHub coffeehouse stage that became the new Porch - tuck into the back near the old Pavillion.
No idea where the roost is maybe up near the entrance area where the arcade and weird fort thing was.
The depth in this and amount of night time acts is very nice (especially those fun 12:30AM treehouse sets) but makes it even more bang-your-head-against-a-wall stupid that Travis Scott and PATD get unopposed sets and then FOUR ACTS smash into each other before and after.
Sounds like I'm the only one who saw the schedule and got more excited. Considering we don't know the new stage layout here's my (likely unrealistic) itinerary. Not into the headliners really but it's a good time to hit the campsite for a refresh before the late night sets.
Friday Yung Bae -> Big Wild -> Sweater Beats -> Dragondeer -> The Nude Party -> Soja or TLC -> Ekali -> Awolnation -> Courtney Barnett / Tyler split -> Unknown Mortal Orchestra -> Panic! / back to camp -> Zedd
Saturday Goldroom -> Klingande -> Tank and the Bangas -> Lauren Daigle -> Rubblebucket -> Tank and the Bangas -> White Panda -> Hippo Campus or Andrew McMahon -> Lee Fields -> Alison Wonderland / Main Squeeze split -> Death Cab -> Young the Giant -> Travis Scott / back to camp -> Passion Pit unless friends drag me to Kygo
Sunday Goldfish -> Matoma -> Thumpasaurus -> Teskey Brothers -> Quinn XCII -> Car Seat Headrest -> 3LAU -> Hop Along -> Vampire Weekend -> Griz -> Post Malone / back to camp -> Honestly can't choose but I like all 3 options

My group is all thoroughly impressed with the schedule and how packed everyday is. None of us can go this year (wedding season + blah headliners) but if they keep this type of schedule and the stages are upgraded like it seems they will be then will be excited to go back next year.

I like what they've done with the schedule/stages this year, I hope they continue with it in the future. But it doesn't matter how fancy you make a shit sandwich, it's still a shit sandwich. I'm interested to see what the final tally of attendance is.

Yikes, Courtney overlapping with Tyler and Lykke Li conflicting with Car Seat Headrest makes this look a lot worse, plus no options during any of those headliners. This schedule is rough. And, Brockhampton vs. Death Cab.
I like that they still have no overlap for the headliners. Makes the quiet songs really special and the crowd massive. And for artists I don't like it's the perfect opportunity to hit the campsite for a refresh before late night sets.

Those restrained Travis Scott ballads are really going to echo through the Woodlands.
Are these stages massively far away or something? The overlaps don’t look that bad to me.
its a pretty big site but its apparent that Goldenvoice is changing the map with the new stage names so we dont really know how far each stage is from one and other right now

Hahaha file that one in column B - campsite refresh.

So I got a free code for a GA weekend festival pass, which I was able to use multiple times across different accounts to order a ticket... PM me if you want it.

So since I may actually attend all three days now, I have a question about south camping. I keep reading about how there's barely any space in a regular 10 x 30 campsite after you add your vehicle. Would you recommend including just one big tent for three people, or would it be possible to do two smaller tents in that spot alongside the car?

Excuse the ignorance, but are the three main stages Firefly, The Prism, and The Lawn? If these free tickets actually come off I was considering buying one of those front row passes on Sunday, which is eligible for the three main stages, but it doesn't actually list the stage names.

You could go either way, but I'd recommend one tent that fits everyone (we use a 6-person for 3 people) and an EZ-Up. Two tents would encroach on EZ-Up space.

Those will be the three biggest but Front Row passes are new this year so no way to tell for sure unless Firefly clarifies.
that promo code for a free pass worked, ill be coming Friday and Sat. Found a room in Milford about 15 miles away. Does anyone know if there are designated lyft/uber areas or have suggestions for the best way to get there and back? Seems like the shuttle on goes to certain areas that are much further then where ill be and are sold out anyway.

I usually walk out to the Home Depot on the intersection of Leipsic Rd./US13 and get a ride there. On the map it looks like there is a designated drop off/pick up area at the Dover Mall this year. Yes, the shuttles only go back to certain hotels at the Beaches, Newark, and Wilmington.

Random story: One year I was able to get an uber driver to drive me all the way to the north camping entrance during the festival. The police didn't say anything and she drove over the bridge lol.
i never wouldve even considered this festival despite living an hour away and I really hate all 3 headliners but Fri and Sat schedule worked out really nice with the bands i like. Im really excited to see acts like Ripe, Lawrence, and The Main Squeeze play later at night. Dont really have any conflicts either with is nice. Im seeing some of these acts at LiB so ill skip some so i still have some first time shows there.
Friday: Yung Bae > Nude Party > SOJA > TLC > Grizfolk > Sir Sly > Bob Moses/Lawrence > Ripe > Zedd (would be Crooked Colours but gonna save for LiB)
Sat: Joywave > Saba > Tank and the Bangas > Hippo Campus > Lee Fields > Half Alive > Main Squeeze > Mansionair > Passion Pit (prefer JPEG here but the girl im bringing isnt gonna like it, might try to get like 15 mi worth)
