Literally any of these would get me pretty excited
Janelle Monae Rosalia King Princess SOPHIE Tierra Whack JPEGMAFIA Ross From Friends
Solange Mac Demarco Bob Moses FKJ SALES The Garden
HER Blood Orange Pusha T Kaytranada Lizzo Rico Nasty Soccer Mommy US Girls
The only reason I didn't list Aphex Twin & Gesaffelstein is because I don't think they're likely for Roo. I think at least a handful of the others could there though.
Saw US Girls here in Asheville. Would love to see them again. Soccer Mommy had one of my fav albums of last year. FKJ when I saw them at hula was amazing.
Also
Kaytranada Khruangbin Kacey Musgraves Solange Four Tet Pusha T

Also haven’t seen any on that list besides Push.
This is basically where I'm at for realistic crossover. Janelle's probably more likely than Solange but I'd love both.
Chvrches is one of those groups that feels like they have appeared on the lineup every single year since 2014, even though they haven't.
CHVRCHES have always been boring, white bread festival fodder and I am still confused how they ever got as successful as they did, but I'm glad people are catching on

I disagree. I thought they were great at ACL and then we saw them here in New Orleans between weekends. Both shows were pretty excellent. I also really liked the new album though I know it didn't go over with all the old fans. I generally hate pop too, so I often wonder how/why they grew on me.
If I could get 4 undercard acts from Coachella:
CHON would easily be the instant 1. They're some of the best musicians on the Coachella lineup. Free form and improvising progressive styled jazz isn't for everyone. But they are some of the best up and coming musicians on the world stage these days.
CloZee - CloZee is pretty great. Like I said coming out of Voodoo (was the 2nd time I saw her), I wish they would have promoted her instead of REZZ. However, she played Bonnaroo last year, and everyone who went to either set told me they were both great.
Little Simz - I'm not the biggest fan, but I've watched her stream a couple of times, and I've seen a few interviews with her surrounding some of the Gorrilaz' shows. So I think I'd want to give her a chance.
Rico Nasty - Because she's over the top silly, but I find her somewhat entertaining. I'm not saying she's great (I'll see her at Buku schedule allowing)

I don't hate pop, I've just never heard anything special in CHVRCHES music. To each their own though. Clearly a lot of people do. I don't hate them but their high billing at festivals now always makes me wish someone else was booked instead.

Mother We Share is still an A+ tune though
Yeah. That's a great song. I love Clearest Blue and Trace of a Man as well. If you weren't at ACL Weekend 1 (or didn't watch the stream), Lauren did a nice introduction on how f'd up it was that we got ramrodded with Kavanaugh that morning and how shitty it was. She invited the crowd, with a dedication to Metallica playing a bit later in the evening, to scream out a giant "FUUUUUUUUCK!" along with her as she then dedicated, Trace of a Man to all survivors. I thought it was intense, and it was good. The show at the Joy was awesome though. We had such a good time there that mid-week. I'll take them anywhere because I like to sing along with them for whatever reason

It's gonna be fun to look back Tuesday at all these acts that they could've booked but didn't

I know, right?
Deafheaven, Vince, James Blake, and Beats Antique would go a long way for me. We'll be lucky to get one of those, probably, and it'll be Beats Antique.
What artists would you like to be leaked at this point, I mean lumineers is the only one that I don’t want to see on the lineup.
lumineers take up prime real estate on those first 2 lines, especially with him already confirming Avett Bros. im ok with Girl Talk as long as the rest of the edm isn't bullshit.

I enjoyed their set a couple years ago but wouldn’t want to waste a top spot for them. If we see it I hope it’s a later set
Has anyone ever mentioned Yeasayer here?? would be a great Bonnaroo fit...
They just sort of fell off after that last record (it wasn’t very good so that makes sense), but it looks like they have new music and a tour coming. I doubt they would be so in demand or very expensive at this point so I don’t see why they couldn’t go after them if they wanted. I don’t know how they fit into the Bonnaroo lineups of today though.
