Jim James interview today (https://www.pollstar.com/article/jim-james-from-distortion-to-clarity-136578) says MMJ will tour in 2019 and there will be another Jim solo tour so surely we can expect one of those at Roo this year in the Capps return

If any of these names end up on the 2019 lineup...I'm making my way back to Tennessee!!!
The Dead Weather Goldlink St. Vincent Blood Orange Parquet Courts Hozier White Denim ZHU Khruangbin Jorja Smith The War on Drugs A$AP Rocky Leon Bridges Tom Misch EARTHGANG Twin Peaks Rex Orange County
What smaller undercard rappers do you guys hope to see on the lineup that hasn’t played yet or is there anyone you think we might get that you personally dislike?
Personally would love: The Underacheivers Joey Bada$$ Ab-Soul Earl Sweatshirt(where would he be billed now? Sad he never played in 2013) Open mike eagle
With a return with any of: Run The Jewels Action Bronson ASAP Rocky Tyler the creator Danny Brown Mick Jenkins
Saba, Noname, Joey Purp, Buddy, Open Mike Eagle, Rapsody, Lizzo, and Freddie Gibbs would all be cool names that wouldn't be higher up off the top of my head
I also meant to put vince Staples in the list of rappers I want to return to Bonnaroo, only got to see some of his set and from where I was it sounded really good and hype.
Missed him in '17 but he had a decent crowd in '15 playing with Woods at This Tent on a Friday afternoon. Or maybe the young peeps were just trying to get a good spot for Bleachers.
Pretty sure he had left Woods by then. Also I remember that Woods crowd as one of the smaller ones I saw at Roo.
What's the most sparsely attended set you've seen at Bonnaroo? (excluding like the club stages and Christmas tent etc.)
Mine was Steve Gunn in 2016. Poor guy sounded great but I walked up to rail halfway through. There were more people at Grandma Sparrow even iirc
Probably Hiss Golden Messenger in 2015. I don't think there were more than 20 people under the tent, 2 of those being Amelia and Nick from Sylvan Esso.
