I caught YL at Warehouse Live I think in 2015? The “retirement” tour. That was a great show. Looking forward to that one and the new music.

Missed where this was talked about, was just talking it in the shows thread.
Zach Bryan has no Houston date and no dates on May 11th or 12th, with Knoxville and Little Rock dates in between those. Seems like a solid bet for a first headliner
Foo Fighters just announced a Houston show at 713 Music Hall on 10/10
Nabbed tickets to this in the pre-sale today, probably got caught up in the small venue thing and paid a lot more than I normally would for a Foo Fighters show but my fall concert schedule is super light so whatever
That's pretty cool. I still haven't been to a show there.
It's a sweet place. Saw/covered Young the Giant and Milky Chance there in July and loved it. Foo playing there will be wild.
It's solid, Houston really needed a venue that size in the inner loop so I was glad it filled the void. Solid sound, I like the setup, next to a pretty solid food hall that makes it easy to pregame.
Though I discovered that if it's a sold out show that they borderline oversell it. I got in late for The 1975 last year, like after the opener but before they came on, and place was filled to the brim. Could barely see the band from my spot in the back, there's a bar in the back that kind of stifles some of the sightlines. As long as you are in front of that bar though, it's good. Could be remedied pretty easily by just getting there closer to doors though, which I'll do for this Foos show. Shows that weren't sold out I really enjoyed there, had lots of space for Billy Strings, Jason Isbell, and Fleet Foxes there and loved all those shows.
Only other complaint is it's a LiveNation venue so terribly overpriced drinks but what can you do

This whole year has been light for me. I've seen a bunch of stuff but probably not 1/3 of what I'll usually catch in a year. Some of that is less festivals in New Orleans, but a lot of it is just not pissing through money 2-3 shows a week. Only tickets I have for the rest of the year are Polyphia in Houston and San Antonio, 3 nights of Pretty Lights in New Orleans and then Billy Strings for New Years. I'm for sure going to get a ticket for Snarky Puppy in October. And there's some decent shit coming up at Fillmore where my kids work, so some of those are an option (Tash Sultana, Death Grips, Porno for Pyros, Mersiv). Strangely enough, I haven't been super broke this year either. I'd rather be going out more, but I'll get back on tha train soon enough.
