This is the second year in a row where Lolla spread out the few acts I want to see across all of the days. $160 is pretty steep just to see Tame Impala.
Yeah Friday is the only day I'd go but I can't get commitments from anyone else so that's probably not going to happen. Here's to hoping there are a couple good afterhows. Hoping for Tenacious D, the Strokes, Tame, and Death Cab.

yep
Was planning on going for the Strokes but there is literally no one else I’d want to see that day.
Friday is decent, might try to do that one for Janelle and Tame

I try and plan a trip around from the west coast to see the cubs and do one day of lolla, but damn there is just no one day that is worth it. This is pretty terrible
Saturday isn't great lol. Guessing I'll end up doing Lil Wayne into Madeon and RL Grime on Perrys? Maybe I'll listen to some more J Balvin and check him out
Edit: Listening to a recent RL Grime set, not great lol. Guess I'll see J Balvin
Wonder what they're going to do about the sub situations on Fri/Sat? I feel like Janelle/21 Savage/Death Cab and Lil Wayne/Gary Clark Jr/Tenacious D are all big enough to sub. I guess Tenacious D would seem alright in a Tyler, The Creator spot but both 21 Savage and Death Cab seem too big for that?
This couldn't have broke down worse for me, so I'm out. I'll hope for the best with after shows, if the secondary market tanks enough I might re-consider attending the fest.
DCFC > Tame on the North and Janelle > Gambino on the South. Pretty much a lock. Lolla has tried to confine crowds/genres to one side of the field the last few years. Not always a perfect science but pretty close. Being able to see Tame, DCFC, and IDLES has my attention but considering I'll have seen Tame at Coachella with better production, it's just not worth the price point right now. Maybe they drop on the secondary later but there's solid aftershow potential here. I'm completely okay with just waiting for those.
