Sleeping Village is a really cool little place, I've only been once but I'd definitely go back. It might take a minute to get there from Union Park though, not sure what the best way would be
Uber/Lyft would be fastest, but at that time the Ashland bus to the Belmont bus wouldn't be a bad option either.
I never really think about Uber/Lyfts after big things like that because I feel like there are always surges, but if it's cheap then yeah obviously that'd be the play
Friday: Mike > RICO FUCKING NASTY > Valee > maybe camp out for Earl if my girlfriend is there since he's her favorite artist, otherwise wander around > Pusha T > Mavis > HAIM
Saturday: Ric Wilson > Chai > end of Tirzah > maybe Cate Le Bon for a bit > Jay Som > Amber Mark > Freddie Gibbs yass > B & S > Isley Brothers
Sunday: Dreezy > Flasher > Black Midi > Jpeg > Ibeyi > Khruangbin > Neneh Cherry > Charli for a bit, but mainly get close for > Robyn
Also I bought a friends ticket to the Stereolab after since he's bailing on this fest entirely so I may show up to that. Smart Bar on Saturday is a possibility but not planning on it as of now
trying to talk myself out of it... really shouldn't be spending more money right now.
there is also a black midi concert on Saturday night in a small club... just sayin
IF I was gonna do it, I'd probably fly in Sunday morning and leave Monday morning. Luckily my credit card was stolen so I have like 6 days before my new one gets here to think about if I can swing this.
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
Lets see how many other shows are affected. They have a brutal week coming before jumping back to the U.S. travel wise. I think they come back to the states, which gives em a week, then have another week before Japan.

Really wish I was doing all three days of this, but family commitments made it such that I'll only be up on Sunday very hype for my first Robyn experience, even though I'm bummed to be missing some really cool shit on Saturday (Stereolab + Sinister mostly)
Easy to get a local band to replace. Wonder if Tirzah will just not bother trying to come over here to the u.s. to tour. Is she an enemy of the state or what?

I think US officials heard the lyric “What’s keeping me from holding on?” and took it as a challenge.
