Did R. Kelly actually succeed as a P4k headliner in 2013?
I wasn't there, and I'm not sure why it's relevant. How a pedophile performed at p4k 7 lineups ago isn't really the topic of discussion. He played Bonnaroo and Coachella that year as well when most of you were pretending he wasn't peeing on kids. You should have gone away with your old stomping grounds you twat.

R Kelly did perfectly fine in 2013 as a headliner. People were on the sidewalks watching and they took down the coverings on the fences to let those people watch. Its a hometown gig and did what youre supposed to do regardless of what he has done. I mean Jim Derogatis hate watched the shit out of that set though and came down on the festival really hard for booking him. So they made the mistake, they owned up to it and not many fests would in that regard. Its part of their history and just an opinion to whoever was rhere as to how it was.
Counting R Kelly as a “performer” at Coachella is just laughable. He gusted on one song, which Phoenix wasnt even sure was gonna happen cause he rolled up 5 minutes before and they pulled it off.
Also, has anyone heard if Midwinter is happening next year? Tickets went on sale around this time last year.
I doubt its happening. Seems like a failed experiment for them. I mean it seems to work better if it was a one day thing, maybe make it a long day at the museum. They didnt have to make a whole other festival and then put July on the back burner. It really hurt those sales cause they didnt announce til March. Hopefully it goes back to Feb announce.
And for the steely dan thing, thats going to be interesting if it happens. They would headline them though, thats gonna be the crazy thing. So Lana, Steely Dan and St Vincent or something? For sure they have to be after Lana with that review
