The schedule is already out by the way, and there are a lot of overlaps. Also You need to purchase a $50 base ticket and add-on more to get into some of the other events. Interesting.
Just an FYI the base ticket cost is per day or you can buy a 3 day base for $127

If I can find a way to see Mount Eerie and DJ Koze on the same day for under $100... I may just have to do that. Really do wish the pricing was more like a typical festival
Lol, I added 9 add-ons, and with the base ticket it came to $350. BS.
Yeah I got through and even if I saw just Yves Tumor and DJ Koze it’s $80, which seems like way too much money. Hopefully there’s a Groupon in the future.
Groupon or just removing the base price would be nice.
I mean, even if they removed the base price, those 9 add-ons came to $200, and I think it's too much to ask for. Each concert within the same venue was priced differently, why would they do that? I dunno.

i'm just reading about this base ticket + add-on pricing system. anyone aware of another festival that has done this?
overall i don't like it, and clearly it's too expensive in this instance, but with some pricing adjustments it could be an interesting way to prevent overcrowding at "festival" shows like this. even better if a festival just has a couple of acts you want to see.

There are probably some real issues to work through with the museum to ensure reasonable crowd control. I’ve done events at art museums before, and the rules about the number of people in a room, maximum decibel levels, etc, can be really tough to work through. If that’s the issue, this add-on structure is an interesting way to address that problem, but in the end this is more of a traditional museum event than a music “festival”

In for Sudan Archives, Mount Eerie and DJ Koze on the Friday. I get the frustration on how the ticketing is done, but $100 for those three honestly isn't terrible. The base entry fee just needs to be lower by about half and I think this is a pretty neat model.
My big question is who "Special Guest TBA" is going to be. Can I add that on later if it ends up being something awesome?

$100 for those three is pretty terrible imo.
Each their own. I probably would have paid $50 for Mount Eerie by himself, so that helps a good deal
I think this is a very cool concept, but I don't like any of those acts enough to pay that much money right now. I remember Julie said they were trying to book Bon Iver for III points and this, where tf would he have fit in lol he's bigger than every other artist on the poster I feel like.
