Hey, speaking of Midwinter, 3 day passes sold out, and apparently The Disintegration Loops, Bill Calllahan, and Laurie Anderson are all close to selling out.

Oh god Aphex would be incredible. Robyn would also be very cool but it looks like most of her dates after March are overseas... Bjork would get me there by herself; at least for a single day.
This fest is in a really weird zone where I love the linup every year and it's fairly convenient to drive from where I am, but I've also probably already seen a good portion of the lineup they book every year because it's my style of music, so it ends up being a tossup whether I attend each year.

Also, is anyone else out there in Inforoo world going to be around for Midwinter? That's starting to get pretty close and I still haven't seen much infor about passes getting delivered or how that process will work
aphex needs to come to the midwest. he's been just out of reach for me and so many other people. i wish pitchfork fest was able to find a new spot something similar to what field day was doing this year. theres so many spots closish to transit in chicago that can reutilized and create a top enviornment. they have something with midwinter i hope they can continue to get the u.s. on the same level with europe in that regard. getting out of union park and combining that with aphex and a couple other names would be amazing.
Still torn on Robyn playing this - given that she hasn't really been popping up on any American lineups at all, I'm starting to think it's less and less likely she plays this.
That being said, now that she keeps getting announced for more and more festivals, I'm going to guess Kacey subs at this.
With Eaux Claire being shut down for the year, I don’t have a festival for 2019 yet so I hope Pitchfork gets something interesting enough to get me to haul myself down from the twin cities.

noname and tierra were there last year, swap one with earl and this would look solid
There's no way Aphex is playing this. If he plays anything other than what's already announced in the States, it'll be solo shows or maaaaaaybe Movement. He's too expensive.
