My progress has been slow because I can’t get my wanted level down. Most of the map has been revealed though. My favorite pastime is roping people off their horse. Got into a bit of a situation when the logging company asked for my help with a wolf problem. During the hunt I accidentally pointed my weapon at a worker and the whole crew attacked me. I did not fix their wolf problem, but I did kill every worker.
Do a treasure hunt or two and pay your bounties. Bounty hunters are a pain in the ass
That is amazing! Birds were worth too much glad killing everything will hopefully be worth more.
And I really am looking forward to finishing pimping out my bolt action with the gold
I was starting to get tired of fish grinding also so it's nice the payouts will increase for missions I have like $600 right now too lol
It was clearly a Beta and not just a soft launch so I was ok killing birds. Didn't get into fishing as much because the birds worked fine for me.
What I like about this is that they actually listened to feedback and made a change. PLUS they are giving a reward for playing in the beta. I've done a few where you don't get anything, and it sucks.

Yes for sure, I think my only complaint is the level locking but hopefully they make it easier to get xp without just the showdowns
Rockstar just announced that they are adding changes to online today
Some changes include: increasing rewards, lowering weapon prices, and balancing the value of pelts, skins, carcasses, etc
And also they are giving everyone who has played so far $250 and 15 gold bars
I was so annoyed with everyone complaining so hardcore after only like 3 days of it being out. I kept saying to people to just have patience and they will make fixes. No online game is perfect as it launches and they will have many updates. People kept bitching about "no, they won't update the economy because they want to make money idiot" and now Im glad to see them making significant updates. Great news
Has online gotten any better/different? I haven't played it in about a month and was disappointed by it.
I enjoyed my time online but also haven't played it in a little bit. Combination of pushing through the single player story more and also just not carving out time for it. But my experience was enjoyable and I didn't have any real issue with griefers or other stuff. I enjoyed the game modes they had.
But they really need to add some more things to do if they want to keep it active for people. I'm sure updates will be coming but last I read there hasn't been anything significant added. I would spend time hunting to get some money and play a few rounds. I think I have one or two of the missions left to do.
Btw, I'm finally getting into chapter six. So many emotions.
All I want is a RDR 1 re-master for PS4. I have it on PS3 but playing through this story just makes me really want to jump right into RDR 1 immediately. I either need to bring the PS3 out of my room or sign up for PS Now for a month or two so I can play it on there. The downside is the graphics/gameplay will be a downgrade.
Please Rockstar....give me RDR 1 re-master DLC. I'll pay good money and then have the maps connect so it's one huge world.

Yeah I've been replaying the story instead of spending any time online. It's just so much like GTA online which is fine but I wanted more. The Red Dead universe is probably my favorite gaming universe. I know Rockstar will add more things but right now I can't find the motivation to play it.

I read something the other day that people should just put the game down when you get to Saint Denis for the bank job. Everything after that is awful. Pretend everything went well, and they all lived happily ever after in Tahiti.

Yea, I can see why that is. I plan on re-playing the game at some point once I'm 100% finished with the story but I'm glad I kept a few saves for earlier chapters so I can just go back and do some of those again.
I'm really annoyed that Arthur was so sick and dying looking later in the game. Every cut scene or whatever showing his puffy red eyes and bad cough. I want healthy Arthur goddammit. Give him a cure!

Still in epilogue 2. Trying to not finish it all out as I know the missions are almost over some point soon. Doing some legendary hunting missions. Got the full strategy guide book thing and discovered that there are robots and meteor showers and other things I haven't experienced yet. Gotta find 'em.
