Also I finished chapter 2 yesterday and now I definitely feel as if I'm doing things. Game is starting to pick up for sure
Yea, I found that the little things that were slightly annoying early on ended up being explained in the next few missions I had. Learning how to fist fight and block, hunting info, how to access my horses and junk.
I know the game is HUGE but i've been having fun so far just going back and forth to camp and town. Can't wait to expand more.

I plan to download the app but saw commenters saying that it doesn't work on a lot of android tablets. I don't really want to use my phone. Gonna have to look into it.
I can't stop thinking about this game. Whenever I'm doing something else all I can think about is when I can play again.
This is how I'm feeling today. I've been on the red dead subreddit for the past 45 mins in this class trying to figure out what I should do next. This game is insane
Dead Eye doesn't refill for me, even though my core is full or near full. What up with that?
I have no idea how dead eye it eagle eye really works because I barely use them but i would just try sleeping and then eating some stuff
Eagle eye is for looting and tracking and stuff. It doesn't need to be refilled.
Dead eye is for shooting/aiming and refills after using some items. I think one mission has you buy a cigar at the general store and that does something to the dead eye but forget if it helps the core or the actual dead eye

I ate some chewing tobacco and it just filled the outside ring up. I really need to use it more but im so used to playing this like GTA that I just duck behind cover and stand up and shoot every once in a while
I named my horse Epona. She's still kicking, for now.
I still have mine from the beginning of the game. This was the one I bought on that hunting mission. Bought the cheapest one just to get it over with and then got attached to it.
It's honestly a miracle it lasted as long as it did.
This game is incredible The detail in every little aspect really sets it apart from everything else I have ever played.
Re: Dead Eye, I like how they implemented it. Only in Chapter 3 but as you start to upgrade it it gets a lot more powerful.
Had my first horse die last night. Had it from opening night. I was actually much more sad than I thought I would be. Had to fight the urge to reload a save. It wasent the "best" horse but it was mine. Then I just spent an hour drinking in a saloon to kill the pain and bought a new horse in the stable.
No game has ever hooked me this early with story mode before.

Dead Eye regens naturally when you shoot people out of it, skin animals, and things like that. Plus the consumables are so plentiful that I use them a lot. I like that it forces you to use them.
Even health and stamina work a lot better. Use the consumables. I feel like I have to eat in this game more than any other I have played except Subnautica.
And sorry for the triple, but yeah, I find myself thinking about this game all the time when I cant play it. really hard to avoid spoilers but still trying with the major ones.
So many things I want to do, and then when I get in, I am immediately sidetracked by something random like a snake that spooked my horse.
