I'm hoping FLips performing Soft Bulletin Ween performing chocolate and cheese is on the same day as Dungen, Claypool-Lennon, or Wand so I can just get a day pass. Stereolab is playing at 400 person club here for $30. Not really worth the $360 for tix+camping right now.
Awesome lineup, but I agree that the headliners do not really appeal to me as much as previous years...Last year's Trio of Tame, MBV, and Slowdive (even though Tame only played 3 songs) really did it for me. I'll be missing this year's fest because of other travel plans, but would still consider going because the sub-headliners and undercard is another home run by Moon Block/Daze.
This is kind of worst case scenario for me. Wu as the top headliner at a psyche fest? Also never been a big ween fan, and I've probably seen the flaming lips 10 times by accident.
Big fan of this lineup. Not too sure about the Wu hate. They were amazing both times I saw them.
Just that if it said The Mars Volta instead of Wu Tang that it might feel more satisfying? And that it seems 'off brand'', but they want to throw a curve ball and thats a pretty interesting way to go ya know?

I agree with this wholeheartedly! I just hope they have daily tickets.
Wu Tang isnt enough to move the needle ticket sales wise, so there def will be single day tickets. Now the question is which acts on the undercard end up with a DD related show. Wishful thinking about Stereolab doing a club show?
I'm so about everything from the second line down, I think this one is a no brainier for me. Wu and ween threw me, but I might actually get more people to go with me because of that so... At least it's 36 Chambers, and you know they'll throw in the hits at the end.
