I feel like it’s usually 2 HL’s from ACL so definitely Gambino for his makeup date too and Either Billie or Tame. I like Billie but don’t think she’s a HL yet personally so I’m sticking with The Black Keys Gambino and Tame. It fits the past couple of years really don’t see them grabbing ACL’s #1 but could be completely wrong.

As much as I do love this, I will be sad if Billie Eilish isn't also on Voodoo's lineup.
EDIT: Also, I know that Voodoo has the LePlur stage so there will be some EDM, but there isn't a bunch on the ACL lineup that I could see...not like previous years that is.

Trying to remember but does voodoo usually do day passes? With doing ACL might not be able to do a full weekend but would love to still make a good day at minimum.

I heard that GVF commercial this morning on 92.3 and I am 100% pleased they won't be on Voodoo.

Random but what’s the odds of Slipknot or System of a Down and would they be headliners or subs here? I’m saying headliners but never know with more mainstream hard rock bands at a diverse music fest it seems like.
Soad could headline but idk if they wouldn’t go bigger? I’d like to see them. I don’t think they bring slipknot unless Halloween was one of the festival days. They’d be sub HL or they’d play the Manson 2018 slot on an alternative stage before the main HL. I can’t get shit from anyone which means that no one that people I know communicate with has said anything, and the most legit contact I have wouldn’t know anything until late May. I’m going to Austin next weekend so the chance I would have seen him before the release and picked up some clues is next to nothing unfortunately. I’m thinking 2 or 3 weeks from next Tuesday maybe?
As far as acts not playing, assume no one from the last couple years will be on the lineup, and there’s otherwise a lot of unsavory shit (as well as some good shows), you can scratch off from the Satchmo list @ www.satchmo.com/nolavl/concerts.html

It doesn’t make me excited but like Mumford or The Killers the last couple of years, I’m ready to be pleasantly surprised after missing them many times over the years. I still take a wild guess and say either J Cole or Drake might be the rap HL. I’d prefer J Cole personally.

It's just some ideas. We've done fairly well on this thread with a few of the top guesses each year between all of us. I could see Deadmau5 also coming in at 3 or 4 again like he was supposed to in 2015 when that day got rained out. He's off from October 18th until he plays Red Rocks on All Saints Day. I'm not a big fan, but I did like the look and sound of Cubes v. 3.0. So I'd be okay with it.
Edit to say I decided to walk to Bayou Boogaloo to catch Angelo Moore’s Brand New Step. So speaking of bands rained out in 2015, bring back Fishbone

Haha yeaaaa. We were really on for Mau5 so it was deflating not to go back Sunday. Still had a blast. Even if Saturday was basically just a French quarter bender. Saw Eric Prydz pop up slow that Sunday.

Makes sense to me. Deadmau5 at 3/4/5 could make logical sense as well. Other possibilities for the Top 5 would be The Cure, Tame Impala or The Raconteurs. I think we probably have at least 2 of the Top 5. I don't think Voodoo will share 3 of the top 6 from ACL this time around, though last year we shared 4 of the top 6 (except Childish cancelled). It's usually a couple of the same acts rather than as many as we would have potentially had in 2018. JMO of course. I don't have shit.

All these artist are sounding good to me i hope it’s atleast the Black Keys The Raconteurs and for my friends that i know would solidify them going Deadmau5. Give some good alt acts and solid hip hop acts and I’m back.
